Online Event 1- "Caption This":
Bored of reading photo-captions in newspapers and magazines by others, then This is your chance to flex your brain muscles and come up with your own witty and humourous Captions. Write down your brain storming thoughts and awe everyone.
Rules and Regulations:
1-First level will start today and will run up to 27th of October. In this level a pic will be uploaded
every 2 days. Participants have to add a caption and get as many likes as possible. The top 5 captions at the end of the time limit will be given points according to the number of likes.
On the 27th October the winner of level 1 will be declared on the basis of the maximum number of points. Winner will get a certificate. This level is meant for promotion.
2-Second level will start on 27th October and will run up to the 6th of November. In this level a pic will be uploaded on the daily basis. Participants have to add a caption and get as many likes as possible .Again the participants will be awarded with points for each caption. The top 5 participants with maximum points will be shortlisted at this level. But the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions will be decided by some Faculty members on the basis of their captions on the final pic that will be uploaded on 8th of November.
Scoring of points—
At first level
500,400,300,200,100points to 5 participants on the basis of likes.
Winner will be declared on 27th October on the basis of maximum points
At the second level
500,400,300,200,100points to 5 participants on the basis of likes .
The final pic to be uploaded on 7thof November will give 500 points to the caption with maximum likes + a bonus score of 1000points to the best caption as decided by some faculty member so that opportunity remains alive. So the final 3 winners will be declared on 9th of November. These 3 will get exciting prizes.
