Gurukul The Kids Arena

A yummilicious day ! With 'Cooking without fire' theme, kids at Gurukul learned the art of cooking without using fire. On the menu were yummy bhelpuri and a healthy fruit chaat. 🍒🍽

Diwali bash at Gurukul school. Fun, food, dance and tradition come together as kids learn the importance of our culture and values while having fun.

A few glimpses of Janmashtmi celebration in Gurukul school. Little ones had a blast dressing up as Lord Krishna and Radha and celebrating the birthday of dear lord Krishna.

Gurukul school celebrated the festival of Hariyali Teej in the school premises. The kids had fun as they understood the symbolism of greenery and nature.

Teaching does not need to be limited to textbooks and blackboards. With our fun school activities for kids, learning in school becomes an interesting and enjoyable exercise.

The school celebrated it's annual day celebrations on 16th March 2018 .The evening witnessed a spectacular collection of multicultural ,entertaining and thought provoking stage performance by the students .

Mrs.Asha Sharma ,principal ,presided over the function. The Chief Guest was Dr Pankaj Verma ( SDM ) Aligarh and father Sunny Kottoor , principal of St Fidel's School Aligarh.

The function commenced with the lighting of the lamps by the dignitaries .The hall was filled with parents.
The students welcomed the gathering with a beautiful dance performance Saraswati Vandana And Welcome Song.

Students offered a colourful display of their talents by dancing to songs from various states of India. They presented folk dances such as Rajasthani, Goan ,Punjabi ,Kashmiri ,Gujarati.

Other performance like Jungle book , And the act Swaacch Bhaarat Abhiyaan were the highlights of the event .
Through different performances, students shared a message that we must embrace the cultures of nation and overcome all the narrow prejudices and should be a responsible citizen .

The tiny tots looked pretty in their colourful attire.

The Principal presented the school report tracing the progress, major events and achievements of the school.
This was followed by the Prize Distribution ceremony by Chief Guests.
