Md. Ashikur Rahman, a 10th grade student and the President of HMDC EC 25-26, has brought glory to our school by winning the Outstanding Presentation Award at the International Olympiad on Climate Change & Environmental Issues (IOCE). Heartiest congratulations from all of us at HMDC.👏

This was a team award at the International Olympiad on Climate and Environment (IOCE), where Team Bangladesh proudly secured the Outstanding Presentation Award. Bangladesh also celebrated an individual Gold Medal achieved by Taseeen Mohammod. IOCE is a global platform that unites young minds to address critical issues of climate and environment. The journey was made possible with the incredible support of Flydubai, the title sponsor of Team Bangladesh.

For the first time in history, Bangladesh is taking part in this global competition, and Ashikur will proudly carry not only the nation’s flag but also the name of Harimohan Govt. We are overjoyed to share that our very own Md Twashin Ilahi (SSC-24) — a proud former debater of HMDC and an outstanding alumnus of Harimohan Govt. High School — has brought international honor to Bangladesh by winning the BRONZE MEDAL 🥉 at the GENIUS Olympiad 2025 – Science Category, held at the prestigious Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), New York, USA! 🇺🇸

Among 1,698 exceptional projects from over 70 countries and 34 U.S. states, only the top 25% earned medals —
and even more remarkably, only the top 10% worldwide received the Bronze Medal.
Now, Bangladesh proudly stands among them. 🇧🇩💫
