The Department of Industrial Chemistry at Aligarh Muslim University recently hosted a Pre Placement Talk, organized by the American Chemical Society, International Students' Chapter (ACS ISC). The event, held on April 3, 2024, featured insightful discussions aimed at equipping students with the necessary skills to excel in interviews and enhance their professional profiles.
Chairing the event was Dr. Shahab AA Nami, who delved into various strategies and hacks to qualify the interview round successfully. Dr. Nami's expertise and guidance provided invaluable insights into navigating the interview process effectively, ensuring that students are well-prepared to tackle any challenges they may encounter.
Dr. Mohammad Zain Khan, Faculty Advisor of ACS ISC AMU, delivered a comprehensive overview on crafting impressive CVs, resumes, and cover letters. His detailed presentation offered students practical tips and best practices to showcase their skills and experiences in a compelling manner, thereby increasing their chances of securing desirable employment opportunities.
Mr. Mohammad Abubakar Khan shared compelling insights into the benefits of joining the American Chemical Society, International Students' Chapter. Through his presentation, students gained a deeper understanding of the numerous opportunities and resources available through membership, further enriching their academic and professional journey.
The program was skillfully conducted by Mr. Zaeem Ahmad Khan Sherwani, ensuring a seamless flow of discussions and engagement among attendees. Lastly, Ms. Ayesha Fatima presented the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the speakers, organizers, and attendees for their participation and contributions towards making the event a resounding success.
