EVERY CHILD MATTERS: A STEP TOWARDS AN INCLUSIVE CLASSROOM

Aligarh, 24 September 2026:
A meaningful and engaging Faculty Training Programme on “Every Child Matters: Equity, Inclusion, Dignity & Constitutional Values” was organised at Maharishi Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Agra Road, Aligarh, with the objective of strengthening teachers’ understanding of inclusive, equitable and value-based education.
The programme was inaugurated by Respected Principal Shri Mahendra Upadhyay Ji, who emphasised the profound responsibility of educators in creating a learning environment where every learner is respected, valued and provided equal opportunities to flourish.
The training was conducted by Shri Sudhir Kumar, Resource Person, through a highly interactive and experiential approach. The sessions explored the essential dimensions of Equality, Equity, Inclusion, Dignity, Constitutional Values and the vision of NEP 2020.
Teachers enthusiastically participated in experiential activities such as “The Classroom Without a Label” and “Walk in My Shoes”, which encouraged them to look beyond labels, recognise barriers to participation, understand diverse learner needs and reflect upon unconscious bias in classroom practices.
The programme provided an enriching platform for professional reflection and collective learning, reinforcing the belief that inclusive education begins with an inclusive mindset among educators.
The programme concluded with a renewed commitment by the faculty to build classrooms where every child is heard, respected, included and empowered to succeed.

Grateful for a Meaningful Conversation on TM & Consciousness-Based Education 🌿

My sincere thanks to Shri Ravi Singh Chaudhary Ji for inviting me to his insightful podcast and for creating a meaningful platform to discuss Transcendental Meditation (TM) and Maharishi Consciousness-Based Education.

A brief introduction to Ravi Singh Chaudhary Ji:
A Mechanical Engineer by education, Shri Ravi Singh Chaudhary Ji is an author, Vrikshayurveda-based agripreneur and dedicated explorer of the Bharatiya Knowledge System and ancient Indian sciences. He has authored books including Rishi Intelligence, Krishi Sanhita and Gau Samhita, and has worked extensively in natural farming and traditional knowledge systems.

Successfully Conducted CBSE Capacity Building Programme on “Educating Parents About Education”
It was a privilege and enriching experience to successfully conduct a CBSE Capacity Building Programme as a Certified CBSE Resource Person on the theme “Educating Parents About Education” on 22 August 2026 at Pavna International School, Hathras.
The programme focused on an important and timely question: As education is undergoing a paradigm shift, are parents sufficiently aware of what education means today and how they can become meaningful partners in their child’s learning journey?
The major modules and themes covered during the programme included:
🔹 Paradigm Shift in Education — moving from rote learning and marks-oriented education towards competency, creativity, critical thinking, experiential learning and holistic development.
🔹 NEP 2020 & NCF-SE 2023 — understanding the changing educational vision and translating policy into meaningful classroom and home practices.
🔹 Assessment Reforms — moving beyond marks towards competency-based, formative and holistic assessment, with emphasis on feedback, application and learning progress.
🔹 Know Your Child — understanding every learner’s unique strengths, interests, needs, potential and learning journey rather than focusing only on the “black dot” of weakness.
🔹 Career Counselling & Vocational Education — helping parents appreciate diverse pathways, skills, aptitude, interests, vocational exposure and informed career choices.
🔹 Parent Engagement & Partnership — transforming the role of parents from merely monitoring marks and homework to becoming informed, supportive and collaborative partners in education.
The programme incorporated interactive ice-breakers, sticky-note reflections, paradigm-shift gallery walk, case studies, role plays, the Black Dot activity, Potato–Egg–Coffee story, discussions, videos and action-planning activities, ensuring active participation and reflection among the teachers.
The central message of the programme was:
“The goal is not to make parents teachers; the goal is to make parents partners.”
When school, teacher and parent work together, the child receives a consistent message of learning, growth, confidence and lifelong development.
Grateful to the school leadership, participating teachers and everyone who contributed to making the programme interactive, reflective and meaningful.
