KILKARI SCHOOL, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, presented a resplendent spectacle at its 21st Annual Parents Day celebration, showcasing an array of captivating performances by its young learners. The pre-primary toddlers set the tone with a vibrant Welcome Dance, followed by the infectious energy of Jashne Bhangra and an evocative Koli Dance, paying homage to the fisherman community.
The ensuing skits and plays were equally impressive, with "I am hungry" conveying a poignant message on food conservation and redistribution to the underprivileged. The dramatic rendition of Mahabharat's Draupadi Chir Haran episode was both powerful and thought-provoking. A Nukkad Natak on Digital India highlighted the importance of technology in modern life, while Baghbaan, a heartwarming tribute to parental love and familial bonds, left the audience in tears. The Operation Sindoor performance by classes 1 and 2 was a touching ode to maternal love.
The grand finale, a stirring patriotic presentation, left the audience breathless and proud. The seamless coordination and meticulous scripting, undertaken by the Principal herself, were evident throughout the event.
The Mayor of Aligarh inaugurated the proceedings by lighting the lamp 🪔, and lauded the efforts of the school in nurturing such talent. "I am overwhelmed by the performances of these tiny tots," he said. "The credit for this spectacular event goes to the teachers and Principal, who have instilled confidence in these young minds to perform fearlessly on stage."
The event culminated in the distribution of trophies and certificates to the young performers, in the presence of esteemed dignitaries including Dr. Hirdesh Kumar, Dr. Pankaj Verma, Dr. Jitendra Kumar, and Dr. Rajkumar Vaidik.
