Scientists discover salt in asteroid, indicating presence of water on Earth

Scientists have discovered salt in an asteroid, which indicates the presence of water on Earth. The discovery could help explain how water arrived on our planet. According to the researchers, the salt was found in a sample of the Itokawa asteroid, which visited Earth in 2003. The findings suggest that the asteroid could have been a source of water on Earth.
