ਅੱਜ 17 ਅਗਸਤ 2024 ਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਅਜਨਾਲਾ ਵਿਚ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਹਾਇਰ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ-ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਪਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਾਲਜ਼ ਸਟਾਫ ਦੀ ਹਾਜਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਇਕ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਡਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਲੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ :ਏ ਸੀ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਤੇ ਰਿਵੀਊ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਦਾ ਵਸਤੂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਗਰਭੂਮ ਵਿਚ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਅਦੁੱਤੀ ਦੇਣ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਅਮੀਰ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰਕਸ਼ੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਬੰਦਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਦੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਅਜੋਕੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਲਾਹੇਵੰਦ ਹੋ ਨਿਬੜੀ ਹੈ।

Under the able guidance of principal, Mrs Parminder kaur, NSS unit of Government College Ajnala organised a Seminar cm Poster making competition on 12-08-2024 under the campaign of "Nasha Mukat bharat Abhiyaan". In this seminar, principal mam addressed the students about the harmful effects of consuming drugs on their holistic development. Moreover she appreciated the students who participated in the poster making competition. And Pledge on drugs was taken by everyone as per NMBA guidelines. The event was organised by NSS program officers Dr Priya , Ms Sumandeep . Prof Jaswinder Singh and Dr Kiran were present in the seminar.
