Stepping beyond textbooks, the Economics and Commerce students of the MCGS Business Club explored real-world entrepreneurship during their visit to Barefoot College.

Adventure, sunshine, and unforgettable memories
Our Class 7 girls set out on a refreshing trekking trip to Pushkar and Bajnath. With 80 enthusiastic participants, the day began at dawn as they witnessed a breathtaking sunrise over the Aravalli hills, painting the sky in hues of gold and filling hearts with excitement.
The journey continued to the serene Bajnath Temple, where students explored its rich history and soaked in the calm, spiritual surroundings.
Filled with teamwork, curiosity, and cheerful energy, this first big trek was truly a memorable experience for our young adventurers

Our students shone brightly at the prestigious three-day meet hosted by Welham Girls’ School, Dehradun. In the Mrs. Saroj Srivastava English Debate, Saanvi Jalan, Anusha Chandak, and Anushka Jain impressed all with their eloquence and confidence. Saanvi and Anusha were awarded Best Speaker in the preliminary rounds, while Anusha was also recognised as the Most Promising Speaker in the third round.
Equally commendable were our participants in the Mrs. Linnel Hindi Debate and the Mrs. Russell Science Quiz, who showcased sharp thinking, poise, and true academic spirit.

Protecting Our Planet, Our Responsibility
Celebrated every year on April 22, Earth Day reminds us of our duty to keep our planet clean and beautiful. On this occasion, students of Classes 4 and 5 learned that small actions—like saving water, planting trees, avoiding littering, and reducing plastic use—can make a big difference.
Taking this spirit forward, the Computer Science Department organized a Poster Making Activity, where students showcased their creativity using Canva.
Blending technology with environmental awareness, they designed meaningful posters highlighting sustainability, conservation, and the importance of protecting our Earth. The activity not only enhanced their digital skills but also inspired them to think creatively for a greener future.

Mayo College Girls’ School, in collaboration with Goethe-Institut, recently hosted an engaging series of student-centered workshops for German learners from Grade IV to XI.

In a thrilling final, Karunawati House claimed the championship title, with Padmini House as runners-up and Charumati House securing third place.
Top honours were awarded across categories, recognising excellence in batting, bowling, wicket-keeping, and fielding—celebrating talent and dedication on the field.
The highlight of the tournament was the gracious presence of Mohammad Azharuddin, whose visit made the occasion truly unforgettable. It was an inspiring moment for students to receive their awards from a cricketing legend.
