'Reminiscence... When time calls back' Farewell 2026

The Farewell Function for the outgoing batch was organized with great enthusiasm and emotional warmth on 6 February 2026. The event was organized to bid a heartfelt farewell to the senior students and to wish them success in their future endeavors. The program began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by Prayer Service. The Passing of the Flame Ceremony was a significant and emotional highlight of the program. In this ceremony, the outgoing batch symbolically passed on the responsibilities and values to the junior batch, representing continuity, leadership and tradition.
The Principal, Sr. Jessy Joseph, delivered an inspiring speech, motivating the students and sharing valuable life lessons for their future. A beautiful dance drama performance was presented by the students, depicting a student's journey at Sophia. The Deputy Head Girl delivered a meaningful speech, expressing gratitude and sharing warm wishes for the seniors. Later, senior students including the President of the Student Council and the Head Girl also delivered heartfelt speeches, sharing their experiences and encouraging their juniors. The School Orchestra gave a wonderful performance, creating a pleasant and lively atmosphere and receiving great appreciation from the audience. Fun games and titles such as Early Bird, Lucky Chair and several other titles were awarded, adding excitement and enjoyment to the event. Overall, the Farewell Function was a memorable and successful event filled with joy, laughter and emotions.

Cadets of Batch 4 went to appear for NCC practical examination on 7th of February at Government College Ajmer . During the practical, all cadets participated very actively and with full discipline. We gave tests on drill and compass reading, and we were also informed in detail about rifles and other weapons. Various questions related to weapons and NCC training were asked, and all cadets answered them confidently. We also learned many new things during the practical. Overall, all cadets performed very well, and the practical examination was conducted smoothly and successfully.

On 8th February 2026, the written examination for the NCC ‘A’ Certificate was successfully conducted inside the GCA College ground. Batch-4 cadets appeared in the examination with full discipline, dedication, and enthusiasm. The examination arrangements on the college ground were well organized, and the overall atmosphere remained calm and systematic. Under the guidance and support of CTO Aarti Sharma, the cadets performed very well. Her continuous guidance, encouragement, and support played a very important role in the smooth conduct of the examination and in the good performance of the students. All cadets attempted the paper sincerely, and overall the examination went very well and was successfully conducted.

CLASS V FAREWELL

The farewell programme for Class V began with the lighting of the lamp by Sr. Beena, Sr. Alexia, Ma’am Anita, along with the Head Girl, Assistant Head Girl, and the Captains of all four Houses, invoking God’s blessings for the occasion.

This was followed by a solemn prayer service, seeking guidance and grace for the students as they prepare to move on to a new phase of their academic journey.

The farewell card was read out by the Deputy Head, expressing love, appreciation, and best wishes for the Class V students. This was followed by an inspiring address by the Sisters, who encouraged the students to remain sincere, disciplined, and confident in all their future endeavors.

The programme continued with a heartfelt farewell card reading by the Head Girl, sharing memories and conveying warm wishes on behalf of the student community. The atmosphere was further enriched by a melodious choir song, beautifully presented by the students.

The programme concluded with the presentation of gifts to the Class V students by their class teachers, given as a token of love, appreciation, and remembrance.

The farewell ceremony ended on an emotional yet joyful note, leaving behind cherished memories for both students and teachers.

KG Section Hindi Patriotic Rhyme Competition 🗣️
Held on: 31st Jan 2026

Our tiny tots showcased their patriotic spirit by reciting inspiring Hindi rhymes, celebrating India's rich heritage and culture. With adorable performances and heartfelt words, they reminded us of the beauty of unity and pride. Kudos to all participants for their enthusiasm! 🎉

Our school celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great pride and patriotic fervour on 24th January. The celebration began with a prayer service, followed by the singing of the prayer song, which filled the atmosphere with devotion and a deep sense of national pride.
Students presented a vibrant cultural programme that included patriotic songs and speeches highlighting the significance of the Indian Constitution and the values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. Students of Classes I and II presented a house-wise PT display that showcased discipline, coordination, and enthusiasm.

Republic Day Celebration (Secondary Section)
On 26th January 2026, our school celebrated Republic Day with great pride and enthusiasm. The national flag was hoisted by our esteemed Chief Guest, Ma’am Anita D’Costa, in the presence of our Manager, Sr. Beena, and our Vice Principal, Sr. Roseline.
The programme continued with a brief prayer service, invoking the Almighty’s blessings for the peace, progress, and unity of our nation. The celebration was further enriched by vibrant patriotic dance performances presented by the KG and Primary sections. A meaningful depiction honouring the makers of our Constitution added depth to the occasion and reminded everyone of their invaluable contribution to the nation.
