This page is about what mayoites don’t say but there are days like today where we say things. Things which should be said more often.
The bonds we forged transcend time, space and life.
The memories we made will live on forever in our laughs, in our tears and in our hearts.
We would steal socks from each other, share food with each other, find solace in each other, throw insults at each other and take a bullet for each other.
The life we live from entering as a naive new boy takes us on a rollercoaster ride until the day we graduate, and even after that. No matter how much time passes once we graduate or how out of touch we get, our bonhomie forever remains.
Unfortunately, it takes us life altering moments to say things we should and so has been with us. In a fraction of a second, our worlds have forever changed. We lose a friend, a brother, a lion of our pack- Miwang Gyatso.
Gyatso was one of the most lovable characters you’d see around. He leaves a void that will be impossible to fill.
This page died long time ago, but we’ve come back today in his honour. We’ll all be lighting a candle today in his name. RIP brother, you were loved before and will be loved forever. We know you’re looking down on us. Smirking at every mischief managed or unmanaged. If there is one thing that is going to be etched forever in our hearts is going to be your smile.
Take care brother. We’ll see you when we see you. Hope you’re singing, laughing and goofying around up there. Lighting up everyones life there like you did with ours.
