One of the greatest leaders of the modern era, Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar was a social reformer who rose above the social stereotypes and redefined our social structure. Popularly known as Babasaheb Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution was born on this day in 1891.

For the endless amount of telephone calls that are made these days, we should thank for this day, for it is on this day, 10th March in 1876 that the first telephone call was made. Bell demonstrated that we can talk to a person sitting at a distant place using electricity. During his first telephone call, Alexander Graham Bell, talked with his assistant , and the first words that were transmitted were “Mr. , come here. I want to see you.”
