Christmas Outreach by Alumni Association of Sophia Sr. Sec. School
On the joyous occasion of Christmas, the Alumni Association of Sophia Sr. Sec. School extended a gesture of love and compassion by organizing a charitable outreach on 22nd December 2025 for underprivileged individuals across different areas and locations. As part of this noble initiative, 15 ration packets containing essential food items were distributed to families in need.
This meaningful contribution aimed to spread the true spirit of Christmas—care, sharing, and kindness—while offering support to those facing daily challenges. The initiative reflects the alumni association’s continued commitment to social responsibility and its dedication to giving back to the community.

Installation of an Air Conditioner in the Waiting Hall

SophianEx, the Alumni Club of Sophia Sr. Sec. School, Ajmer is delighted to share that a new air conditioner has been donated and installed in the Waiting Hall of the school by the Club. The initiative was undertaken to provide comfort to the parents and visitors who frequently use the space, especially during the scorching summer months.
This thoughtful contribution reflects the continued bond of the Alumni with their alma mater. In this way, SophianEx remains committed to contributing meaningfully to the development of the school and serves as a living link, bridging yesterday’s Sophian family with today’s and ensuring that the spirit of belonging and gratitude endures across generations.

Sophia Sr. Sec. School, Ajmer, celebrated the 79th Independence Day of our nation with great pride and patriotism on 15th August 2025. The event was graced by two eminent alumnae of the institution — Dr. Priyanka Mathur as the Chief Guest and Dr. Nandini Gupta as the Guest of Honour.

Dr. Priyanka Mathur, an alumna of the Batch of 1997, brings with her nearly two decades of distinguished teaching experience in the field of Computer Science. Currently serving in the Department of Computer Applications at Manipal University Jaipur, she is celebrated for her expertise in integrating theoretical concepts with practical applications. A dedicated teacher, mentor and academic leader, Dr. Mathur has published extensively in reputed peer-reviewed journals, actively contributed to professional associations, and advised both industrial and governmental bodies. Holding a Ph.D. in Computer Science & IT, she stands as an inspiring example of commitment and excellence.

Dr. Nandini Gupta, an alumna of the Class of 2017, excelled in the Biology stream with 92% marks and showcased her multifaceted talents through active participation in dance, music, science club activities, sports and cultural fests. After qualifying NEET UG in 2017, she pursued BDS from Pacific Dental College, Udaipur. Her achievements include securing State Rank 20 in NEET MDS 2024 and State Rank 50 in the RPSC examination. Presently serving as Medical Officer at ESI Hospital No.1, Kala Bagh, Ajmer. Dr. Gupta is committed to oral health, preventive care and promoting dental awareness in both rural and urban communities.

Both dignitaries, proud daughters of Sophia, jointly hoisted the National Flag, filling the school grounds with patriotic fervour. Students presented cultural performances, speeches and patriotic songs, celebrating the spirit of freedom and unity. The presence and words of the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour inspired students to aim high and serve the society with dedication.

The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks, leaving the audience with a renewed sense of pride and responsibility towards the nation.

With deep grief, we communicate to you the passing away of Mrs. Sujata (peon retired last year) this morning.
