Workshop on Cognitive Load Theory

The conversation around CLT is louder than ever in the hyper-stimulating digital age, where the brain's working memory is frequently overloaded. A workshop, therefore, on Cognitive Load Theory, synthecized by psychologist John Sweller was conducted on Saturday, 9 May 2026 for all teaching staff. The session was facilitated by Ms. Shalini Tripathi, Ms. Annapurna Maheshwari, Ms. Ravinder Kaur, Ms. Jasleen Kaur Khurana, Mr. Sandeep Gaur, and Mr. Devendra Bagla under the guidance of Principal, Shri Sanjay Khati.

The workshop focused on designing effective learning experiences by reducing unnecessary cognitive load and enhancing student understanding. Participants were introduced to a comprehensive Cognitive Load Design Checklist covering content organization, visual design, instructional strategies, assessment practices, technology integration, inclusion, and STEM-specific considerations. Through discussions and practical examples, teachers explored ways to make lessons more structured, accessible, and learner-friendly.

The session proved highly insightful and equipped educators with practical strategies to improve classroom instruction and student engagement.

Rethinking Leadership for Gen Z
The workshop was conducted on Saturday, 9 May 2026, where teachers explored how leadership and teaching approaches must evolve to meet the expectations of today’s learners.
The session highlighted the importance of empathy, understanding Gen Z’s mindset, communication and learning style. Key takeaway was that effective leadership is about connecting with them, understanding their perspectives, and creating an environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive. Gen Z learners value inspiration, collaboration, skill development, and personal growth. The Workshop was conducted by Ms. Parul Mukherjee and Ms. Deepti Khandelwal.

CBSE Capacity Building Programme on Advanced Life Skills
A CBSE Capacity Building Programme on Advanced Life Skills was conducted on Wednesday, 6 May 2026 for teachers, with the objective of strengthening life-skill-based learning in schools. The workshop was facilitated by Ms. Madhu Nagpal, Principal, Sangam School of Excellence, Bhilwara, and Ms. Manju Khosla, Principal, Jayshree Periwal Global School, Jaipur.
Through engaging discussions and interactive activities, the resource persons highlighted the importance of nurturing essential life skills among students providing practical strategies for integrating these skills into everyday classroom practices.

Workshop on Stress Management
A CBSE Workshop on Stress Management was conducted on Tuesday, 5 May 2026 by Mr. Gaurav Khanna, Principal, A***n Public School, Ajmer, and Ms. Sandhya Roy, PGT, Jankidevi Public School, Jaipur.
The workshop provided valuable insights into identifying stress triggers and adopting effective coping strategies. Participants engaged in interactive activities and discussions focused on emotional well-being and resilience.

CBSE Cluster Lawn Tennis
Bhuvi Mishra and Kaira Rathore of Class IX are poised to represent the School at the CBSE Cluster Lawn Tennis Tournament 2026–27 (Girls Under-17), scheduled to be held in Bhopal from 25 to 28 June 2026. The School extends its best wishes to both players for a successful and rewarding tournament.
