Student Cabinet to Lead Rosary
Enthusiastic Swearing-in Ceremony of Student Cabinet at Rosary English School, Ajra
Ajra (Correspondent): The swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected student cabinet for the academic year 2026–27 was held in a spirited atmosphere at Rosary English School, Ajra, following a democratic selection process. Organized with the aim of fostering leadership qualities, a sense of responsibility, and democratic values among students, the event saw the new cabinet members being assigned responsibilities for various departments.
Master Avnish Gavas and Miss Shruti Kurunkar were selected as student representatives. Master Aditya Kapse was appointed as the Minister of Discipline, while Miss Sejal Sawant was named the Minister of Sports. Heads of other various departments were also administered the oath of office. Teacher Sanchez D'Souza administered the oath to all the newly elected representatives and explained the significance of the responsibilities entrusted to them.
Special appreciation was extended to the student representatives who performed excellently during the previous year: Miss Sherel Fernandes, Master Clinton Bardeskar, Miss Myra D'Souza, and Master Swarajyasingh Sardesai. Gratitude was expressed for their contributions, and they were urged to provide proper guidance to the new cabinet.
Father Walvin Fernandes attended the event as the chief guest, alongside School Manager Father Melvin Pais, Principal Manvel Bardeskar, and the entire teaching staff. The dignitaries present encouraged the students to discharge their duties honestly, develop leadership qualities, and contribute actively to the school's progress.
Stephen Fernandes anchored the program, while Teacher Elizabeth Fernandes proposed the vote of thanks.
