Mizoram EIACP Hub had installed an awareness hoarding and dustbin under 'Green Tourism Campaign' at Lalsavunga Park, Hlimen, Aizawl on 21.8.2026

EIACP Hub conducted an ‘Anti-Littering Campaign’ at Tawngtaina Hmun on the World Bank Road along the Aizawl –Lunglei Highway to raise awareness against littering from vehicles on 7.8.2026. Awareness message were distributed to drivers and passenger and free car dustbins were provided to Sumo service drivers to encourage proper waste disposal. EIACP team appealed to drivers and the public to join hands in keeping Mizoram clean, green, and healthy.

Mizoram EIACP Hub organised Awareness seminar under the theme "Save Water-Catch the Rain" (where it falls, when it falls) on 29th july 2026 at Govt. T Romana College. Republicvengthlang, Aizawl.

Mizoram EIACP Hub organised "Plant and Adopt with Siampuii Ralte" campaign in collaboration with Ms. Siampuii Ralte, a prominent singer and environmental advocate from Mizoram.
In addition, awareness hoarding promoting responsible waste disposal was installed at Sakawrhmuituai Tlang, one of Mizoram's major tourist destinations. The hoardings urge visitors to dispose off their waste in designated dustbins and help maintain the cleanliness of the site.

Mizoram EIACP Hub prepared an educational story book called Guardian of The Blue Mountain (Tlang Pawl Venghimtu) and a poster on Standard Operating Procedure for Segregation of MSWM Rules, 2026 (Bawlhhlawh Thliar Hran Dan Tur), both in regional language and distributed to various Child care Institution, Angan Wadi Centres and local cafes in Aizawl, Mizoram on 21st & 27th July, 2026.

In observance of International Plastic Bag Free Day 2026, Mizoram EIACP Hub distributed cloth bags to shoppers at the largest market in Aizawl City as an eco-friendly alternative to single-use polythene bags. Awareness messages on the harmful impacts of Single-Use Plastics (SUP) were also broadcast through a public address system.
