IV Carolin Laldinsangi Memorial Lecture

The IV Carolin Laldinsangi Memorial Lecture has been organised by the Department of History on 19.09.2025( Friday) at RUSA Hall, Govt. T. Romana College.
The programme was chaired by Dr Benjamin Ralte, Associate Professor. Dr Jenifer Lalbiakdiki, Principal delivered welcome speech and Mr Tommy Remchhunga, son of Carolin Laldinsangi has donated a number of books belonged to her late mother to the department.

Prof. O. Rosanga, a retired Professor, had delivered a lecture on “ The empire of Tea and the annexation of Mizoram”.

Prof. Malsawmliana, Head of the department delivered vote of thanks.

Caroline Laldinsangi was the former head and faculty in the department of History who passed way in 2019.

Mrs H. Lalbiakzuali, Head & Associate Professor, Department of Mizo got her Ph.D degree from the Department of Mizo, Mizoram University on 31.01.2023. Her thesis is entitled “ Interpreting Fantasy ; A study of Mizo Folk Narratives”.
