Prepositions are small but very important words in English. They help us tell when, where, and how something happens. Though they look easy, they are often confusing—especially in exams and spoken English.

Prepositions are words used before a noun or pronoun to show:

📍 Place
🚶 Movement
👉 Example: in the room, on Monday, to school
⏰ 2. Prepositions of Time
These tell when something happens:
at → exact time
👉 at 5 o’clock
on → days & dates
👉 on Monday
in → months, years, long periods
👉 in July, in 2024

Some expressions must be remembered:

in the morning / evening
on time = punctual
