🏅Golden Glory, Bronze Brilliance – A Proud Achievement for SRM Convent School!🏅
SRM Convent School takes immense pride in congratulating Pavanveer Singh Dhaliwal, a student of Grade 11 (Medical), for his outstanding achievement at the 61st Punjab State Shooting Championship (NR) 2026, conducted by the Punjab Rifle Shooting Association at S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali.
Pavanveer showcased exceptional skill, determination, and sportsmanship by securing:
🥇 Gold Medal in the Junior Men's 25 Metre Sports Pistol (NR) Team Event
🥉 Bronze Medal in the Youth Men's 25 Metre Sports Pistol (NR) Team Event
On this remarkable accomplishment, Director-Mr. Sumit Mittal, Admin Incharge-Mrs. Kavita Verma, DP Teacher-Ms. Harpreet Kaur, and Class Incharge-Mr. Amir Khan extended their heartfelt congratulations and applauded Pavanveer for bringing laurels to the school.
The achievement was also warmly appreciated by Mr. Rajan Sharma (PPS), Superintendent of Police, Punjab, and Curriculum Director of the School, as well as Mrs. Yogita (PCS), JMIC, and Academic Advisor of the School, who congratulated the young champion and wished him continued success in his sporting journey.

✨📚 मात्राओं की रोचक दुनिया ✨📚
SRM Convent School में कक्षा 1 के विद्यार्थियों के लिए हिंदी विषय की एक आनंददायक एवं ज्ञानवर्धक गतिविधि का आयोजन किया गया। इस गतिविधि के माध्यम से विद्यार्थियों ने विभिन्न हिंदी मात्राओं को अपने समूहों के साथ मिलकर सजीव आकृतियों के रूप में प्रस्तुत किया। इस अभिनव शिक्षण पद्धति ने बच्चों को मात्राओं का सही, सटीक एवं सरल ज्ञान प्रदान किया।
ऐसी गतिविधियाँ बच्चों की सीखने की रुचि को बढ़ाने के साथ-साथ उनकी रचनात्मकता, टीमवर्क और आत्मविश्वास का भी विकास करती हैं। खेल-खेल में सीखने का यह अनुभव विद्यार्थियों के लिए अत्यंत आनंददायक और यादगार रहा।

🧪 Exploring the Science of pH | Grade X Chemistry Lab Activity 🧪
Learning becomes more meaningful when theory is transformed into practice! The students of Grade X at SRM Convent School enthusiastically participated in a Chemistry Lab Activity on "Finding the pH of Different Salts and Solutions Using a Universal Indicator."
Under the expert guidance of their chemistry teacher, students carefully tested different salt solutions with the help of a universal indicator and observed the colour changes to determine their pH values. The activity enhanced their practical skills, strengthened their understanding of acids, bases, and salts, and encouraged scientific observation and analytical thinking.
At SRM Convent School, we believe that experiential learning ignites curiosity and builds a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

🌍 World Paper Bag Day | My Secret Goodie Bag Activity 🛍️
On the occasion of World Paper Bag Day, observed on 12th July, the enthusiastic students of Grades I–V at SRM Convent School participated in a fun-filled "My Secret Goodie Bag" activity.
Using paper, creativity, and imagination, the young learners designed beautiful and eco-friendly paper bags with colourful decorations and unique artistic ideas. The activity encouraged students to embrace sustainable practices while showcasing their creativity and craftsmanship.

At SRM Convent School, our young SRMians enthusiastically participated in a fun-filled Shapes Activity, where learning came alive through collaboration and creativity. The students formed groups and beautifully demonstrated different shapes such as Circle, Triangle, Square, and Star using their own positions.
This engaging activity helped them recognize geometric shapes, improve teamwork, and build confidence while making learning interactive and enjoyable. Watching our little learners transform into shapes with excitement and coordination was truly a delightful experience!

Fire Safety Drill: Prepared Today, Protected Tomorrow! 🚒🔥
Safety is the first step towards a secure future. SRM Convent School successfully conducted a Fire Safety Drill on the school campus in collaboration with the Fire Brigade Team. The session provided valuable practical training on fire prevention, emergency response, and safe evacuation procedures.
Students, teachers, drivers, and all supporting staff actively participated in the drill, learning essential fire safety measures and the importance of staying calm during emergencies.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Fire Brigade Team for their guidance, expertise, and dedicated efforts in making this awareness programme highly informative and impactful. Together, we continue to build a safer and more prepared school community.
