Zameer is the co-founder at The Busride Design Studio, established in 2006 in Mumbai along with his brother Ayaz. Zameer holds a bachelor’s degree from CEPT, Ahmedabad and graduated with a SMArchS degree from MIT, USA. Along with his practice, he has been pursuing his interests in reasearch, ranging from contemporary marginalization and conservation practices, to domesticity and urban living.

Zameer would be talking about their work and related musings in this evening chat.

The concept of resilience revisited.
The need for a change in the disaster risk reduction work culture, with stronger emphasis put on resilience rather than just need or vulnerability, is the present day persisting demand from architecture. A final year student through this project tries to explore community housing for displaced families of the flood prone areas in Majuli.

The climate is changing, So much Architecture.

Making buildings—and by association, the architecture profession should be profoundly responsible, for Climate change is the fundamental design problem of our time.
Museum of Climate Change is a deployable museum that aims in spreading awareness regarding Climate Change in different cities of India. This project focuses on applications of intelligent responsive kinetic systems for extending current techniques and technologies used to accomplish sustainable design in architecture.
