Smile- IIM Ahmedabad SMILE- Student Mediated Initiative for Learning to Excel. It is aimed at helping kids from underprivileged background in doing well in education.

SMILE stands for Student Mediated Initiative for Learning to Excel. This is a IIMA community outreach initiative. It is aimed at helping kids from underprivileged background in doing well in education by providing customized remedial education by volunteers from IIM Ahmedabad and other educational institutes of Ahmedabad.

What a week it’s been!✨️

From painting and science experiments to music, drama, and even a taste of the corporate world, our kids made the most of Summer Activity Camp 2025.

The finale was all about celebrating effort and talent - with goodies for the best performers and, for the first time ever, recognition for our Computer Science exam toppers.

Big thanks to our teachers, IIMA student volunteers, and of course the children themselves for bringing so much energy and joy to every single activity.

The SMILE Summer Activity Camp 2024 was a heartwarming and action-packed week! From Bollywood dance to hands-on science projects, the children from classes 6 to 12 were fully engaged in activities that sparked creativity and learning.

The Mini MBA challenged our older students to create business plans with the help of volunteers, while younger ones built volcano and solar system models during the science sessions. Art and craft workshops, patriotic songs, and dramatic performances brought out the best in every child.

The grand finale was a proud moment as the students showcased their talents in front of teachers, alumni, and the IIM community. We couldn’t have done it without the amazing support of our volunteers, and Thank you for making this possible.
