Do thou agree?

𝐈𝐂𝐒𝐄 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟎 𝐭𝐨 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟒, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞!
An 𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗲𝗿'𝘀 𝗱𝗮𝘆 ended at 𝗱𝘂𝘀𝗸. As he returned home, he met 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 who described this 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 taking place at the Supreme Court.

The Astrologer was curious and so he went there just in time to hear the counsel for the crown say, "𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲?" The accused pleaded in defence that he just went to that plot because 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 was behind him. Then the lawyer laughed and said, "Next he'll say that land was 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶." The accused retorted, "Im not that stupid. And besides this man here is the very same 𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗻 who has been harrassing 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀 in the neighbourhood." The man who put forward the case replied, "You fool. I saved their lives from the gunshot of 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗻𝗶𝗽𝗲𝗿!" The accused replied, "Oh well! Your wife wouldn't agree to that. I would tell her of all you did that day but then 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿 and I'll be nice and not ruin your marriage"
The astrologer, on hearing all this, sighed, "It's 𝗮 𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆!" The judge was irritated with the ongoing case and the astrologer's interruption wasn't received well. "And who is that mongoose like 𝗥𝗶𝗸𝗸𝗶 𝗧𝗶𝗸𝗸𝗶 𝗧𝗮𝘃𝗶 who thinks he's got 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗸𝗲𝘆'𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝘄 there?" the astrologer was finally asked.

He then looked at the watch. The postmaster was still beside him. Reading the time, he replied, "It's sad for them. Even after 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘆'𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁 this case still goes on."

I need to find 'A Treasure Trove of Short Stories' and read all of them again!
