UGC HRDC Gujarat University An interuniversity institute of professional development It helps the lecturers in developing their skills. In nutshell there was communication gap between them.

The Academic Staff College, Gujarat University has been working for excellence in higher education since 1987. But there was no communication between lecturers and the college after they complete their courses from the college. It is not possible for them to be aware of the activities of the institution. There was no interaction between them. And interaction is the key in great examples of Indian

heritage of learning and teaching like Nachiketa and Yama, Janaka and Yagnavalka, Arjuna and Krishna. It is very difficult to develop skills without interaction. So, we were thinking of some bridge between us. And at last the bridge is built. We are launching this journal to overcome this gap and make communication live. It will help you to be with us all the time. We will make you aware about the activities and plans of the college through the journal. It is observed that there are very few journals which provide launching pad to new researches and lecturers of the colleges. We will try to be platform for new researches and college lecturers. As we are living in the age of Knowledge Explosion, it is necessary for every lecturer to make him/herself update about the latest information in the field of education. The journal will help them. The primary function of the Academic Staff College is to lead lecturer towards excellence, hence the title of the journal is “Towards Excellence”. As Oxford Dictionary defines:
The U.G.C., Academic Staff College, Gujarat University was made functional in 1988. It has been working to fulfill basic aims of higher education suggested and expected by U.G.C director. The pioneer director was Prof. Ujamshibhai Kapadia. Prof. Rohitbhai Shukla Prof. A. R. Shah, Dr. A.A. Ahluwalia and Dr. B.M. Brahmbhatt worked as director of ASC. Dr. Jagdish S. Joshi is a director of the college at present.

We're thrilled to announce that the Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC), UGC, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, has approved our proposal for a new MOOC titled "Literature and Cinema" under the SWAYAM initiative!

This is a proud moment for Gujarat, as this is the only undergraduate-level English Literature course from the state to be approved under this prestigious initiative! 🙌

Shocking Decline in Amazon's Service - Unacceptable Experience

I'm writing this review as a disheartened and loyal customer of over 10 years, who's witnessed Amazon's service deteriorate drastically in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The past month has been a nightmare, with FIVE orders cancelled despite advance payment. This is unacceptable, especially from a brand I've trusted for so long.

The latest fiasco was the most astonishing - Amazon claimed my order was "out for delivery" at 11:34 AM and "rejected" by me at 11:35 AM. How is it humanly possible for the delivery person to reach my doorstep in ONE MINUTE? This blatant lie is an insult to my intelligence.

Amazon's service has become a joke. The consistency and punctuality I once admired have vanished. It's clear that the company is not taking customer satisfaction seriously. There is no email for complaint of customer care available on Amazon App even one has to spend much time to talk to customer care and the chat boats are frustrating. I urge Amazon to take immediate action to address these issues and restore their reputation.

Until then, I'll be forced to explore alternative options, which is a sad reality for a loyal customer like myself.
