Doon Castle International School actively participated in the Jal Pakhwada initiative introduced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) under the guidance of the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

This initiative is part of the larger campaign Jal Shakti Abhiyan: Catch the Rain, launched in 2021 to promote water conservation and sustainable water management practices across the country.

During this 15-day period, various meaningful activities such as Jal Shapath, water awareness rallies, and council meetings were conducted to emphasize the importance of conserving water. In addition, competitions like poster making, debate, quiz, and essay writing were organized to inculcate and foster a sustainable development approach among young students.

These activities aim to sensitize students towards the value of water and encourage them to adopt responsible practices for a better and more sustainable future.

Earth Day Celebration at Doon Castle International School 🌱
