That was the heart of Online Friendship Day Celebration at Shiv Ashish School Pokemon Nest , where we brought to life the legendary bond between Krishna and Sudama—a story that has inspired generations with its quiet strength, selfless love, and unwavering trust. Their friendship reminds us that genuine connection flourishes not in grand gestures, but in small, heartfelt acts of kindness, and that was exactly the spirit we wanted our students to carry with them. It was a warm, interactive, and deeply engaging virtual gathering where students and parents came together not just as attendees, but as active participants.



The portrayal of Krishna and Sudama was not just a performance; it was a mirror held up to our own lives, gently asking us to value the people who see us, accept us, and love us without condition. By the end of the session, it was clear that this celebration was far more than a calendar event—it had become a shared experience of reflection, gratitude, and joy.

Solution-Based Thinking: From Problems to Possibilities!

An enriching and thought-provoking session was conducted by Ms. Veeral Desai, centred on developing a solution-oriented and problem-solving approach in our everyday practice.

Through relatable situations and reflective questions such as “What is actually working?”, “What is one small thing you can do differently?” and “What would a little better look like?”, the session encouraged teachers to pause, connect with real classroom situations, and look at challenges from a fresh perspective. The examples and discussions were particularly relevant and relatable to teachers across both Primary and Senior Grades, helping them connect the concepts to situations they encounter in their everyday teaching and interactions with students.

Teachers also learnt to analyse situations through a broader lens, enabling more balanced, thoughtful, and solution-oriented responses. The interactive approach, practical examples, and meaningful reflections made the session highly engaging and relevant for our educators.

Our Principal, Ms. Namrata Sheth, also attended the session and enriched it with her valuable insights. She encouraged the teachers to look beyond merely addressing problems and focus on nurturing curiosity and a genuine love for learning among students. She beautifully reinforced the thought that schooling is not merely meant for learning; it is about developing a lasting love for learning.

The session beautifully highlighted the power of human connection and the importance of igniting the spark of learning within every student.

A wonderful learning experience that reminded us that meaningful change often begins with one small shift in perspective and one thoughtful step towards a solution.

The morning of August 15th dawned with a special kind of energy at Shiv Ashish School—an electric blend of reverence, pride, and youthful enthusiasm. The entire school community came together as one large family, gathering on the sprawling grounds under a sky painted in shades of saffron, white, and green. The air was thick with the soul-stirring melodies of patriotic songs playing softly in the background, setting the perfect tone for the day's solemn yet celebratory proceedings. As the clock struck the appointed hour, a reverent hush fell over the assembled students, teachers, and parents. With unwavering dignity and grace, the national flag was hoisted by the esteemed Ms. Veeral Desai, the guiding light of our institution. Standing alongside her as distinguished guests of honor were Mr. Ramesh Desai, Mr Manish Nayak, Ms. Jyoti Patel and Ms. Binu Unnithan, whose presence added immense gravitas to the occasion. As the tricolor unfurled against the azure sky and fluttered proudly in the gentle breeze, every individual present swelled with a profound sense of belonging, their hearts beating in unison to the rhythm of the National Anthem that echoed across the campus.
The true highlight of the celebration, however, was the magnificent theatrical act and dance performance meticulously prepared by the talented students of Shiv Ashish. It was far more than a mere cultural program; it was a poignant, visceral journey back in time to the darkest and most heroic chapters of India's freedom struggle. With breathtaking choreography and raw emotional intensity, the young performers brought to life the indomitable spirits of our great freedom fighters—from the fiery defiance of Bhagat Singh to the gentle yet unyielding strength of Mahatma Gandhi. The stage transformed seamlessly, depicting iconic moments of sacrifice, from the heart-wrenching tragedy of Jallianwala Bagh to the roaring fervor of the Quit India Movement. Through a powerful fusion of dramatic dialogue and expressive dance, the students captured not just the history, but the very soul of the struggle—the agony of subjugation, the burning thirst for liberty, and the ultimate triumph of the human spirit.

EMPOWERING YOUNG MINDS THROUGH EFFECTIVE LEARNING STRATEGIES
On 05.08.2026, Shiv Ashish School successfully organized an engaging Smart Study Workshop for the students of Class X and XII, which was conducted by renowned trainer Mr. Maulin Pandya. This interactive session aimed at equipping students with practical learning techniques to enhance their academic performance while maintaining their physical and mental well-being.
The workshop covered several essential topics, including memory and its processes, helping students understand how the brain learns, stores and retrieves information. Through an exciting memory game, students experienced firsthand how simple techniques can significantly improve recall and concentration.
Students were also introduced to quick reading skills, enabling them to read faster while improving comprehension—an invaluable skill for board examinations. The session further emphasized effective planning through the Time Management Matrix, encouraging students to prioritize tasks, minimize distractions and develop disciplined study habits.
Recognizing that academic success is closely linked to overall wellness, Mr. Pandya highlighted the importance of Pranayama in enhancing focus, reducing stress, and improving mental clarity. He also pointed about the benefits of Satvik diet, explaining how healthy food choices positively influence concentration, energy levels and emotional balance.
The workshop was highly interactive, informative and inspiring. Students actively participated throughout the session and gained practical strategies that they can immediately implement in their daily study routines. Such initiatives reflect the school's commitment to nurturing not only academic excellence but also holistic development, empowering students to face not just their board examinations but their life with confidence and a positive mindset.

It is a moment of immense pride and joy for the entire Shiv Ashish family as our brilliant team of young innovators clinched the Second Position at the prestigious Design Thinking Competition – SWADHA, hosted by J.G. International School. This achievement stands as a testament to the power of visionary thinking, perseverance, and teamwork.

Our victorious squad—Preksha Sharma, Manush Patel, Purvansh Kansara, Suhani Goswami, and Hetanshi Gadhvi—did not merely compete; they immersed themselves in a journey of deep problem-solving.Their presentation before the jury was marked by clarity, confidence, and a mature understanding of design principles, which ultimately set them apart from numerous talented participants.

Behind their success also stood the unwavering guidance of our dedicated mentors and teachers, who nurtured their potential and encouraged them to push beyond their limits.
