THE BINDING GOODBYE...
'Retirement Felicitation Ceremony' - a first of its kind event in the history of BJMC was held for the faculties of B.J. Medical College and Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad who retired between the period of May'25 to October'25 on 30th October, 2025 at Sanskruti hall.
Honouring the retiring faculties - Dr. Raghvendra Dixit ( Officer on special duty - BJMC ) , Dr. Ila Desai ( Professor and Head, Department of Radiology) , Dr. Devang Raval ( Professor and Head, Department of Community Medicine) , Dr. Nina Shah ( Associate Professor, General Surgery ) and Dr. Kishor Shah ( Tutor, Physiology); the event not only celebrated their glorious careers of academic and clinical prowess but also their profound influence on the future generations of medical students.
The occasion was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries - Dr. Minakshi Parikh (Dean, B.J. Medical College) , Dr. Jayesh Sachde (Additional Director of Medical Education) , Dr. Rakesh Joshi ( Medical Superintendent, Civil hospital, Ahmedabad) and Dr. Dharmesh Patel ( Additional Dean, B.J. Medical College) and was efficientlyconducted by the Master of Ceremony, Dr. Urvi Parikh. The event ended on an emotional note with felicitation of the retiring faculty members and heartfelt tributes and words of gratitude from the dignitaries and fellow colleagues.
