🚦 Expert Talk on Road Safety, Traffic Awareness & Responsible Citizenship

The Indus University NSS Unit organized an Expert Talk on “Road Safety, Traffic Awareness and Responsible Citizenship” on 20 August 2026 at Indus University.

The session was delivered by Mr. Upendra N. Shah, President, Active Traffic Consultative Committee (A.T.C.C.), who highlighted the importance of responsible road behaviour and traffic awareness. 🚘🛣️

The session emphasized essential safety practices such as avoiding mobile phone use while driving, wearing seat belts and helmets, following speed limits and traffic signals, and respecting pedestrians and fellow road users. 🪖🚦

The engaging session encouraged students to become responsible and safety-conscious citizens and contribute towards Safe Roads • Safe Life • Safe Future. 🌟

🚑 Emergency Medicine, Life-Saving Skills & Healthcare Awareness

The Indus University NSS Unit organized an interactive session on “Emergency Medicine, Life-Saving Skills & Healthcare Awareness” on 19 August 2026 at the Auditorium, Indus University.

The session was conducted by Dr. Ketan Patel, Consultant & Head, Department of Emergency Medicine, Zydus Hospitals, Ahmedabad.

Dr. Ketan Patel explained various emergency situations in a simple, practical and engaging manner, covering accidental emergencies, fire emergencies, cardiac arrest and stroke, drowning, fractures, CPR, and basic life-saving measures.

🚨 The session helped participants understand how to respond calmly and effectively during emergencies and emphasized the importance of acquiring essential life-saving skills.
