The Bird Conservation Society, Gujarat (BCSG), in collaboration with the Department of Zoology, Gujarat University and Wetland Revival Trust, organised a Guest Lecture on “Degrading Processes in Wetlands and Ecological Restoration Techniques.”

The session was delivered by Mr. Damien Cook, Director, Wetland Revival Trust, Australia, who shared international insights on wetland degradation, restoration approaches, and community-based conservation practices.

Day 01 of संगम 2025 was a wild ride - treasure hunt , teamwork and just the right amount of chaos ! From decoding clues to running like explores on a caffeine high, it was all about strategy , speed and a little bit of luck.

Dr. Parvish Pandya is a renowned educator, conservationist, and former Vice-Principal at Bhavan’s College, Mumbai, with over three decades of teaching and environmental advocacy. Currently associated with Sanctuary Nature Foundation, he has conducted extensive workshops and initiatives in wildlife and conservation, earning numerous accolades, including the GREEN TEACHER Award. A life member of BNHS, he continues to inspire and mentor diverse groups in environmental stewardship.
