“મારા પપ્પાનો એ છેલ્લો સ્પર્શ...”

પપ્પા... આજે પણ યાદ છે મને
તમને સ્પર્શ કરવાનો એ છેલ્લો પળ,
કેટલું અજીબ હતું ને બધું...
હું તમને રોકવા માંગતી હતી,
જોરથી પકડી લેવા માંગતી હતી,
પણ સમય મારા હાથમાંથી
તમને ધીમે ધીમે છીનવી રહ્યો હતો.
એ દિવસે પહેલી વાર સમજાયું કે
કેટલાક દુઃખ એવા હોય છે
જેને શબ્દોમાં લખી શકાય નહીં.
તમે બિલકુલ શાંત હતા...
અને હું અંદરથી સંપૂર્ણ તૂટી ગઈ હતી.
મારા હાથ કાંપી રહ્યા હતા,
પણ દિલ ત્યારે પણ એ જ કહી રહ્યું હતું —
“ઉઠી જાઓ ને પપ્પા...
જોવો, તમારી દીકરી રડી રહી છે...”
તમારા ચહેરાને છેલ્લી વાર સ્પર્શ કરતાં
એવું લાગ્યું કે મારી આખી દુનિયા
મારા હાથમાંથી સરકી રહી હોય.
એ છેલ્લો સ્પર્શ આજે પણ
મારા હાથોમાં જીવંત છે પપ્પા...
ક્યારેક આશીર્વાદ બનીને,
ક્યારેક સાથ બનીને.
