🌍✨ Earth Day Celebration at Swastik School! ✨🌍
Today our little Swastikites celebrated Earth Day with love, creativity, and awareness for our beautiful planet. 💚🌱
👶 Pre-Primary Activity:
Children enjoyed a fun palm printing activity in their drawing books, where they created a lovely Earth using their handprints 🌎🖐️🎨
Their tiny hands turned into a big message of care and responsibility! 😊✨
They also learned important habits to protect our planet:
💧 Not to waste water
🌿 Not to pluck plants
💡 Switching off lights when not in use
🗑️ Throwing waste in the dustbin
Children confidently spoke a few lines about Earth Day, expressing their understanding and love for nature. 🎤💖

🌏Maths Club Activity: Global Awareness Through Mathematics🚀
The Maths Club organized an engaging and educational series of activities centered around the theme “Global Awareness”. The objective was to help students understand the world around them through mathematical concepts, while also developing analytical, observation, and representation skills. Activities were thoughtfully designed for different grade levels to ensure age-appropriate learning.
🌈Grade 1:✏️ Introduction to Indian Currency
Students were introduced to Indian currency in a fun and interactive way. They learned to identify different coins and notes such as ₹1, ₹2, ₹5, ₹10 coins and ₹10, ₹20, ₹50, ₹100 notes.
• Recognition of currency symbols (₹)
• Understanding the value of different denominations
• Basic counting using money
• Real-life application through simple buying and selling activities
Children participated in role-play activities like a mini market, which made learning lively and practical.
🎯Grade 2: Exploring Foreign Currency
👩students expanded their knowledge by learning about foreign currencies from different countries such as the US Dollar ($), British Pound (£).🇺🇲
• Awareness of global currencies
• Identification of symbols and names of currencies
Visual aids and pictures of currencies made the session more engaging and informative.
🇮🇳Grade 3–4: Flag-Based Number Game and Shapes
🇯🇵Students participated in a creative flag-based number game combined with shape recognition.
• Identifying flags of different countries
• Associating numbers with colors or elements in the flags
• Recognizing geometric shapes present in flags (rectangles, circles, stars, etc.) 🖐️
• Understanding of basic geometry through real-world examples
• Enhanced memory and pattern recognition
This activity blended mathematics with geography, making it both educational and enjoyable.

👶 Nursery:
Our tiny tots practiced standing and sleeping lines in mud using colourful stencils 🎨🌿
They also enjoyed wrapping and unwrapping a ball with newspaper, helping strengthen their little hands and improve motor skills 📰⚽
🧒 Junior KG:
Children explored a sensory experience by forming alphabets and numbers in sand, making learning fun, engaging, and memorable ✍️🏖️✨
👧 Senior KG:
Our young learners practiced tracing curved patterns as a step towards cursive writing 📚✍️
Using ear buds dipped in colours, they created beautiful patterns on paper, combining learning with creativity 🎨💫

🔬🌍 Science Club Activity – Global Awareness Theme 🌍🔬
The Science Club enthusiastically organized an engaging and informative activity on the theme Global Awareness, where students from Grade 1 to 10 explored scientific concepts through creative and hands-on learning experiences.
🌦 Grade 1 – Weather Around the World
Our young learners observed and drew different weather conditions which helped them understand how weather differs across the globe.
🐾 Grade 2 – Animals Around the World
Students matched animals with their native countries, learning about habitats and biodiversity.
🍂 Grade 3 – Seasons Across the Globe
Swastikites colored and identified different. This activity helped them recognize seasonal changes worldwide.
☀️❄️ Grade 4 – Climate Comparison
Swastikites classified countries as hot or cold using charts and stickers.
🌍 Grade 5 – Natural Resources Worldwide
Using maps and colored stickers, students identified resources like water, forests, and oil.
🌱 Grade 6 – Environmental Awareness
Students collected plastic items and discussed recycling and waste management. This activity promoted responsibility towards the environment.
⚡ Grade 7 – Renewable & Non-Renewable Energy
Students sorted energy sources into renewable and non-renewable categories.
