What we know as MBBS in India is called MD Doctor of Medicine in the USA.
MD Doctor of Medicine which is equivalent to MBBS in India is a 2nd entry-level Degree Program and the minimum Eligibility Criteria for Getting Admission in MD program is 90 credit hours of Pre-Med which is also known as an Associate Degree in Science
Most of the Medical Colleges in USA demand 3-4 years of BSc before applying for MD

So in order to get admission in MD( which is equivalent to MBBS in India) in an American Medical College, you need to
1. First secure admission in a BSc course in the USA which is not very difficult.
2. Maintain 3.8 GPA out of 4 throughout the course while also preparing for the MCAT exam.
This is the most challenging and difficult part.
3. You would also need to score more than 500 in MCAT and ace the interview to get admission in MD in the USA.
It is highly improbable for an Indian student to overcome this hurdle.
Also, most colleges prefer US citizens for admission which makes the admission all the more challenging for Indian students

However if by some miracle some exceptional students do secure admission in MD program in USA, his path to become a successful doctor is very clear.

MD Doctor of Medicine is generally a 4-year program which can be divided into
-2 years of Basic Science - done in the medical college and
-2 Years of Clinical Science done in ACGME Approved Teaching Hospital in USA

More than 96-97% of students who graduate from a Medical College in the USA get a Residency in the USA
- What we know as PG in India is known as Residency in the USA
- Students apply for Residency after Graduating from the 4-year MD program. Residency/PG in USA is absolutely free.
And on top of that, students earn a minimum of €39120.62 as stipend while doing their PG
- Minimum salary after completing Residency/PG in USA is €163002.60
- These are Superb, unheard, and amazing prospects.
But the problem is, getting admission in MD program is highly improbable for Indian students. ----The ratio would be 1 in 10,000
-Fees in the medical college in the USA is also more than €244503.90
-Most importantly, admission in MD program after BSc is NOT Guaranteed.
