Association (a body comprising officers & employees of AAI, A’bad) owns the school and manages its affairs through an Executive Committee headed by the Airport Director stationed at S.V.P International Airport, A’bad. Airport school is a co-educational day school affiliated with CBSE, New Delhi. Secondary school certificate examination and the students are from the complete geographic spectrum of India and from all sections of society without any distinctions of caste and creed.

An Inter-House Patriotic Dance Competition was organised on 17 August 2026 for the students of Std. III and IV. The event provided an excellent opportunity for the students to showcase their talent, creativity, confidence and enthusiasm. Object Identification and Recall Activity!!!

As part of the learning activities conducted for the students, an Object Identification and Recall Activity was organised for the students of Std. I and II on 12 August 2026 at Airport School, Ahmedabad. During the activity, different objects were displayed on the projector one after another. The children were given sufficient time to observe and remember the objects carefully. After the display, they were asked to recall the objects and write their names. The activity helped develop their observation skills, memory, concentration and ability to spell words correctly.

“Patriotism begins with love for our nation and respect for its values.”

To mark this auspicious occasion, the Pre-Primary Section of Airport School, Ahmedabad, celebrated Independence Day with immense joy, enthusiasm and patriotic spirit on Friday, 14 August 2026. The celebration was a beautiful blend of patriotism, creativity, confidence and togetherness, creating a memorable experience for the little ones. The programme began with a warm welcome, setting an atmosphere filled with pride and love for our beloved nation.

A special highlight of the celebration was a skit and dance performance on the theme of patriotism, presented by our little ones. They performed with great enthusiasm, confidence, graceful movements and adorable expressions. Their well-coordinated performances and vibrant stage presence won the hearts of everyone present.

It was indeed a proud and heartwarming moment to see the little ones celebrate the spirit of Independence with such enthusiasm and express their love for India. The celebration left everyone with cherished memories and beautifully reflected the patriotic spirit of our young learners.

Happy Independence Day!!!

Airport School celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on 15 August 2026 in the gracious presence of distinguished dignitaries from the Airports Authority of India. The programme commenced at 9:10 a.m. with a warm welcome, followed by the rendition of Vande Mataram, flag hoisting and the National Anthem.

The cultural programme featured a melodious group song, confident speeches by Pre-Primary students and an energetic patriotic dance by the Secondary students on the theme “Tiranga Har Ghar Mein Hoga”. A Class 3 student spoke on the significance of Independence Day and the values of freedom, unity and responsibility, followed by an inspiring presentation by the Secondary students highlighting patriotism and national unity.

The Chief Guest, Mr. V.K. Seth, GM, AAI, Ahmedabad, addressed the gathering and inspired students to become responsible citizens and contribute to the progress of the nation.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks at 10:15 a.m., followed by the distribution of sweets. The celebration was a memorable occasion that fostered patriotism, unity and pride in the nation among all those present.

Tiranga Yatra: A March of Pride, Unity & Patriotism

The Integrity Club of Airport School, Ahmedabad, organised a Tiranga Yatra on 14 August 2026 in the Sardarnagar area to celebrate the spirit of patriotism and commemorate Independence Day.

Students of the Integrity Club participated in the yatra with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. Carrying the National Flag with pride, they marched through the area, raising slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram.” Their energetic participation created an atmosphere of unity, pride and love for the nation.

The yatra aimed to create awareness about the significance of the National Flag, national unity and responsible citizenship among students and members of the community. Throughout the rally, the students displayed discipline, enthusiasm and respect for the National Flag.

“A little confidence today leads to a brighter tomorrow”

The Pre-Primary Section conducted a joyful and engaging Rhyme and Public Speaking Activity to provide our little learners with an opportunity to express themselves confidently. The activity aimed to develop their speaking skills, pronunciation, voice modulation, memory and stage confidence.

The children enthusiastically recited rhymes and spoke a few lines in front of their classmates. They used appropriate expressions, actions and gestures during their presentations, which made the activity lively and enjoyable.

The activity not only enhanced their communication skills but also encouraged them to overcome hesitation and express their thoughts with confidence. It was heartwarming to see our little ones participate with such enthusiasm and confidence.

CLAY MOULDING AND STAND-UP COMEDY COMPETITIONS!!!

Airport School, Ahmedabad, successfully conducted two exciting House Competitions on 5 August 2026, providing students with an opportunity to showcase their creativity, confidence, and talent.

The Clay Moulding – "My Fruit Basket" competition was organized for students of Standards 3 and 4. The young participants displayed remarkable imagination and artistic skills as they created attractive fruit baskets using clay. Their colourful creations reflected creativity, fine motor skills, and attention to detail.

For students of Classes 9 and 11, a Stand-up Comedy competition was held. The participants of all four houses Topaz, Onyx, Emerald and Sapphire captivated the audience with their humour, confidence, and stage presence. Their performances highlighted excellent communication skills, creativity, and the ability to entertain while delivering thoughtful and engaging content. The event was filled with laughter and enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Investiture Ceremony 2026-27

A spirit of pride, responsibility, and leadership filled the air as Airport School celebrated its Investiture Ceremony on 17 July 2026, formally inducting the newly elected Student Council for the academic session 2026–27.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the triumph of knowledge over ignorance, followed by the warm welcome of the Chief Guest, Mr. S. D. Burman, and the Guest of Honour, Mr. V. K. Seth. In their inspiring addresses, they encouraged the young leaders to embrace leadership with integrity, humility, responsibility and a spirit of selfless service.

The newly elected School Council and House Office Bearers were conferred with badges and sashes before taking the oath of office, pledging to uphold the values and traditions of Airport School with sincerity and commitment.

The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Vice Principal, Mr. G.V. Siva Prasad, expressing gratitude to the distinguished guests, the School Management Committee, Principal, staff, parents, students, and everyone whose dedicated efforts made the event a grand success.
