"Being an outsider I have not had the opportunity of visiting Ram Bhai on a regular basis. Among those limited visits one that I remember most distinctly is from a time when a few of us had just returned from a road-trip to Diu, and had gathered there for an informal closing ceremony of the trip mostly because it is close to the main entrance. Over tea and other things we talked about Diu, how we should go for trips more often and laughed a little and lived a little."

"Ram bhai ! Bhai bhai! The living example that cross selling strategies are efficient! I never go at Ram bhai for a chai, but always leave with one in hand. I have my daily routine there and enjoy as much every day seeing such an enthusiastic man. I even prefer to go out of the campus to meet him. Listening to him calling me Badru-deen is always funny and pleasant and I even manage to get back on campus with one or two new Gujarati words in my vocabulary :D Go Ram bhai! Next step: Zomato !!"

“My most cherished moments at Ram Bhai are the morning tea and maska bun with friends formulating ‘artistic’ solutions for the classes. After a sleepless night, morning class in the second year needed extra efforts to be attentive throughout the session. But the refreshing tea at Rama Bhai during the breaks has been a saviour for night owls like me to catch up with the hectic schedule at IIMA. My first few weeks at IIMA would not be complete without mentioning Rama Bhai. It is an escape pod to relax with a cup of tea and forget about the hustle of day-long activities. By looks, Ram Bhai may be just another kiosk in the campus but is a legacy of IIMA and every soul ever lived in the IIMA campus will have a special mention of Ram Bhai in their life. On a fine sunny day, sitting at Rama Bhai and pondering upon the glittery lifestyle of entrepreneurs, my friends and I started discussing start-up ideas. Thinking about few farsighted and silly ideas we all were struck by the idea of revamping the place we were sitting at. Then we began discussing ideas to improve the customer experience at Ram Bhai and increase the efficiency by implementing concepts learnt in class. And within no time, creative ideas popped up in everyone’s minds to develop a business plan for scaling up the operations of this humble place.”

"After a disappointing Sangharsh, I thought I'll never be happy again. Par RamBhai ke haath ki chai toh khush kar hee deti hai. The service here is faster than my counter attacks. And trust me, I'm lightning quick.
I come here after every lecture. It's a great place to discuss tactics for the frisbee game late at night. Even though I live in the new campus, RamBhai is my go-to place!"

“Ram Bhai is the best place for discussing academics and everything else. The indulgence is real-time – a brilliant piece is immediately met with whistles, back thumps, and more chai sutta! A bad piece is immediately jeered, booed and showered with the appropriate expletives and more chai sutta. Ram Bhai holds a special place because it is like the social network hub of campus. A place that we can truly call our own. The level of customer service can put CCDs to shame.”

"What's a memory you'll never forget?"
"It's not one particular memory exactly, but just the feeling you have when you have your first girlfriend is something different -- you're young and everything seems amazing."
"How did you ask her to be your girlfriend?"
"I didn't! She asked me out in the cutest way and I was on cloud 9! And I am from Jamshedpur. Imagine the feeling."

“Every time I come back to campus after a break, Ram Bhai is the first place I go to. After getting over dengue, when I went to Ram Bhai, it was the first time I met civilisation in DAYS.
During Sangharsh last year, I told Ram Bhai we had a match in an hour and he sort of pepped me up. We lost, but when I was coming back from the court, I saw him watching the match from the side lines. Priceless moment! The place is special because of Ram Bhai himself and his brothers. Amazing people. They just treat everyone so nicely. Credit is allowed so it's like a place where you can go to any time. Plus you get to meet people and the conversations can be intense and hilarious. I have made 50% of my acquaintances on the campus at Ram Bhai. And Ram Bhai is perfect as it is.”

“Some of the most cherished moments have been those where I would wake up in the morning and go for a cup of tea at Ram Bhai's. Meeting some of my friends over there, the day begins with some stimulating discussions about life. Ram Bhai has been a place for multiple occurrences over time, a place for starting conversations, enjoying a fraction of life out of campus, evening traffic of the city, and the people of course. In fact, the idea for contesting elections was first discussed at Ram Bhai's with Utsav dada.”
