Centre for Environment Education - CEE-West, Ahmedabad The theme of the year 2016 is “Fight against illegal trade in Wildlife” and slogan is “Go Wild for Life”by United Nation Environment Programme (UNEP).

Encourages you to celebrate all those species under threat and take action of your own to help safeguard them for future generations. This can be about animals or plants that are threatened within your local area as well as at the national or global level - many local extinctions will eventually add up to a global extinction. WED celebration at CEE campus is tradition being maintained since more than two decades. It is highly popular event in the City and being waited for enthusiastically by environmentally concerned citizens in Ahmedabad. WED involves heterogeneous group including a large number of children in the age group of 5-12 accompanied by their mothers and family members, college going youth and other concerned citizens from various walks of life. Therefore multiple activities happen simultaneously across the CEE campus.
