Delhi Public School–Bopal, Ahmedabad proudly celebrates the exceptional achievements of Jash Chadha of Class VI-C, whose remarkable talent and innovation have brought great pride to the school.

Jash has been selected for the prestigious INSPIRE-MANAK Award for his innovative project, “Smart Solar Safety Strips for Potholes & Manholes.” His project addresses a critical real-world safety concern through a practical and scientific approach. He is the only student from DPS-Bopal to receive this honour and has been awarded a grant of ₹10,000 to further develop his prototype and represent the school at the State Level Innovation Exhibition.

Jash has also been honoured as the Best-Selling Author of the State by BriBooks for his book Beyond Ellie’s Eyes, a recognition that highlights his creativity, imagination, and dedication to writing at such a young age. What makes this accomplishment even more inspiring is that he has already authored and published four books—Beyond Twisted Doors, Echoes of Crystal, Beyond Ellie’s Eyes, and Across the Goal—showcasing outstanding originality, discipline, and a deep passion for storytelling.

We are elated to share that Mahika Varshney of grade IX B of Delhi Public School-Bopal, Ahmedabad participated in the U-18 Gujarat State Tennis Association tournament, held at Srag Academy, Gurukul, Ahmedabad from 28 March to 31 March 2026. She secured First position and became Champion.

Delhi Public School–Bopal conducted an orientation programme on 30 March 2026 for the parents of Class VI students for the academic session 2026–27. The session aimed to acquaint parents with the school’s philosophy, curriculum, rules and regulations, teaching methodologies, and assessment system.

The programme commenced with an introduction to the school’s Vision, Mission, and Motto, emphasizing the institution’s commitment to nurturing well-balanced individuals with strong values of respect, responsibility, and service. Parents were given an insight into the transition to middle school and the importance of fostering independence, discipline, and critical thinking skills among learners.

The academic structure was explained in detail, including the curriculum, innovative teaching methodologies, and the assessment system. Parents were briefed about periodic evaluations, overall result calculation, and the importance of consistent academic engagement. The orientation also highlighted various co-curricular and skill-based programmes. Special focus was given to competency-based learning, in alignment with CBSE guidelines.

Additionally, the session showcased the school’s commitment to innovation through facilities like smart classrooms and the Kalorex Future Tech Lab, which provide students with exposure to emerging technologies. The importance of student well-being was reinforced through information about counselling support, medical facilities, and the Parent Community Network (PCN), which offers guidance and resources for modern parenting.

The orientation concluded with an interactive session that allowed parents to clarify their queries. The programme successfully created a positive and collaborative environment, strengthening the partnership between the school and parents.

One Hour: One Planet

Delhi Public School–Bopal proudly marked Earth Hour on 28 March 2026, continuing its inspiring tradition of celebrating this global environmental movement for the past 14 years.

Students from Grade Prep - XII, along with parents, teachers, and staff, participated enthusiastically by turning off non-essential lights from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm, demonstrating their collective commitment towards energy conservation and environmental responsibility.

The Green Warriors of the school led a proactive awareness campaign by sharing messages across various groups, encouraging everyone to join this meaningful initiative. The entire DPS-Bopal family including students, teachers, administrative staff, and parents came together with determination to contribute towards the well-being of our ailing planet.

During the hour, homes were beautifully transformed into spaces of mindful living. Students engaged in enriching activities such as indoor games with siblings, storytelling, meditation, and candlelight dinners, using traditional energy sources like candles and earthen diyas instead of conventional lighting.

This symbolic act not only highlighted their dedication to a greener and more sustainable future but also encouraged deeper connections with nature. It served as a moment to reflect on sustainable living practices and inspired families to adopt eco-conscious habits in their daily lives.

Orientation Programme- Classes VII and VIII (2026-27)

Delhi Public School-Bopal organized an orientation programme on 27 March2026, for the new set of parents of Classes VII and VIII to familiarize them, “as partners in progress” with the curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, teaching methodologies, co-scholastic activities, internal assessments, importance of regularity and punctuality, school’s commitment towards holistic development of the students and ensuring parental participation in monitoring the performance of students. It helped the parents in identifying suitable follow up methods to reinforce the learning process of their children. Overall, it was a fruitful and enriching experience for the parents, teachers and students.

Orientation 2026–27: Junior School

A warm welcome to the newest members of the DPS Bopal family!

The school hosted orientation sessions for parents of students from Pre-school to Grade 5 on 24 and 25 March 2026, marking the beginning of a promising academic year. The sessions offered an overview of the curriculum, innovative teaching practices, and important guidelines related to student safety and discipline.
