🌷 Kargil Vijay Diwas is observed on 26 July every year in honour of the Kargil War's fighters. This day is of great significance all over India and in the national capital, New Delhi, where the Prime Minister of India pays homage to the soldiers at Amar Jawan Jyoti at the India Gate every year.
Kargil Diwas is a day of national pride. It is a reminder to the world about the courage, determination and professionalism of the Indian Armed Forces.
It also holds great significance for the soldiers who lost their lives fighting to drive away the enemy from Indian soil. The day is celebrated to acknowledge the sacrifices of our armed forces. 🌷

🌷 An idiom is a common phrase which means something different from its literal meaning but can be understood because of its popular use. 🌷

🌷 Guru or teacher has always been considered akin to a God in the Hindu culture. Guru Purnima or Vyasa Purnima is the day to celebrate and pay our gratitude to our Gurus. This Sanskrit word literally translates to ‘the one who frees us of ignorance’.
