In this academic year, L J School of Applied Sciences has received five research article awards by Dr. Chandramauly Sharma, I/C Director and Head of the Chemistry Department , and three awards by Dr. Vamangi Pandya, Assistant Professor in the Chemistry Department , in the 2023-24 academic year. This is the first time our college has received these research awards from L J University.

A big thank you to Agrawal Sir for his continuous support and to L J University for encouraging such research activities. I hope more faculty and students will earn even more research awards in the 2024-25 academic year.

I am glad to share with you that today we got recognized with an appreciation letter and a reward from Dr. Dinesh Awasthi, the Vice-Chancellor of LJU for my article publication entitled , Studies of thermoluminescence properties of liquid crystalline N-phenyl substituted phenyl polysiloxane hydroxamic acids in the journal "Luminescence" published by Wiley.
Authors : Dr. Nirav Pandya , Dr. Chandramauly Sharma , Dr. Y K Agrawal , This journal is a Scopus journal with an impressive impact factor of 4.0.
This achievement was made possible thanks to the guidance of Prof. Y K Agrawal. We would like to express our appreciation to L J Management for their support in promoting this research policy and encouraging researchers.

I am glad to announce that two students of Chemistry Department , M.Sc. SEM 4 has published a research Article Entitled , "A novel reagent for separation , trace determination of Mercury by Spectrophotometry , cold vapour atomic absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) and membrane separation." in Vietnam Journal of Chemistry published by Wiley , having impact Factor : 0.9.

This is the first paper accepted in School of Applied Sciences in an Internal Journal (Wiley) which is listed in Scopus.
