Today marks a proud academic milestone as we (Mrs. Trupti Shah, Life Partner; and extended family members) celebrate 32 years since Prof. (Dr.) Paresh Shah was awarded his Ph.D. in Finance on 18 August 1994 under the guidance of Prof. (Dr. ) Pandey, I. M., then Professor of Finance and Dean of IIM,Ahmedabad.

As his son, Fenil P. Shah, I am privileged to honour my father for his unwavering commitment to higher education, research, authorship, and academic excellence. Over the past three decades, his journey has inspired countless students, researchers, and professionals.

His distinguished career has been recognised through numerous national and international honours, including the Eminent Jain Educationalist Award by the World Jain Confederation, the Peter Drucker Award for Excellence in Applied Research – Accounting, and recognition in the World Book of Records, London.

His academic contributions extend globally through a D.Litt., authorship of books published by Oxford University Press (UK), Wiley (USA), Lambert Academic Publishing (Germany), and Taxmann (India), along with extensive contributions to research, teaching, and scholarly mentorship.

His research continues to make a meaningful global impact, with more than 60,400 reads on ResearchGate and a strong Research Interest Score, reflecting the relevance and influence of his scholarly work within the international academic community.

Congratulations, Dad, on completing 32 remarkable years of doctoral excellence. Your integrity, perseverance, and dedication to knowledge continue to inspire us all. Wishing you many more years of impactful contributions to academia and society.

On this sacred occasion, I express my heartfelt gratitude to my revered Guru, Prof. (Dr.) I. M. Pandey, Former Dean, IIM Ahmedabad, whose guidance and inspiration shaped my journey as a teacher, author, and researcher.

48 years of Teaching, Researching, Authorship and Life long Learning as on June 22, 2026.

Over the past more than 4 decades, I have had the privilege of interacting with thousands of learners, students, educators, researchers, authors and aspiring leaders.

Every classroom, training hall, workshops for faculties, and aspiring managers, and mentoring sessions taught me something new and reinforced my belief that teaching and education is not merely a profession to survive, but it is passion and life long mission.

I remain as passionate about academia as I was first stepped in to this profession as Primary Teacher. My aspiration is simple to continue in academic world till the last moment of my life.

I express my heartful gratitude to all my well-wishers, students, colleagues, mentors and institutional leaders who have been part of this incredible journey of my life.
