Guru-Shishya Parampara
Guru-Shishya Parampara is a traditional Indian method of teaching where knowledge and skills are passed down from a guru (teacher) to a shishya (student) in a one-on-one relationship. This system has been practised in India for thousands of years and is still widely followed today, especially in the fields of music, dance, art, and spirituality.
This system of teaching is highly personalized and tailored to the individual needs and abilities of each student. The guru takes a holistic approach to teaching and considers not only the student's intellectual abilities but also their emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being.
In the Guru-Shishya Parampara system, the guru is not just a teacher but also a mentor, guide, and spiritual leader for the student. The relationship between the guru and shishya is based on mutual respect, trust, and devotion. The guru imparts knowledge and skills through personal instruction, demonstration, and observation, and the shishya learns through practice, imitation, and discipline.
