Mrs Harsha Acharya dedicated her life to training and performing Bharatanatyam over the past twenty-seven years. and received a Nrutyalankar in Bharatanatyam (from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai) under Guru Shri Avnindra Majmundar Dixit. She started her professional career in Bharatanatyam in 1996 at Kripalu Research Centre, Vadodara. Later in the year 2003, she established

her own training institute “नृत्यम् – School of Bharatanatyam” in Ahmedabad, keeping alive the traditional Guru-Shishya Parampara teaching method in her teachings of Bharatanatyam.
