We are delighted to announce the One-day National Interdisciplinary Research Scholar Symposium (IRSS-2025), organized by the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering-IITRAM, IITRAM-Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management.

Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering-IITRAM, IITRAM-Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management, has sussessfuly concluded one-day Capsule Course "Design of Experiments: An Optimization Techniques for Engineering and Scientific Applications (DOEOTESA-2025)", on October 14, 2025.
The course was designed in three modules:
Module 1: Introduction, Background and Overview Basic principles of DOE and Types and purposes of DOE methods; Full Factorial Design The basics of "full factorials", ANOVA, Factorial effects and plots and Model evaluation, delivered Dr. Kumar Abhishek.

Module 2: Response Surface Methodology Central Composite Designs, Box-Behnken Design, Analysis of second-order response surfaces and Process optimization, delivered by डॉ. मिथिलेश दीक्षित

Module 3: Taguchi Method and engineering case study, delivered by Kamlesh Joshi.

The program was attended by students from IITRAM and external students fro PDEU, Ahmedabad University, etc.

Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering-IITRAM is hosting ICFAMMT-2026 fron january 16-18, 2026 in association with MIED, IIT Roorke, NIT Utrakhand and SSME, SAC (ISRO), Ahmedabad. ICFAMMT-2026 has received over 200 abstracts from researchers across India and eight other countries. Considering multiple requests, the abstract submission deadline has been extended to October 31, 2025.
Notice:
Based on requests from research scholars and students, the ICFAMMT-2026 committee has decided to grant a 50% waiver on the registration fee for the second paper submitted and presented by the same author.
We invite researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to submit original contributions via the submission links provided on the conference website and provide wide publicity to ICFAMMT-2026 among your academic and Industrial contacts.

The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, IITRAM organized a Capsule Course on Industrial hashtag Design and Practices on September 8, 2025. The program provided participants with a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience and industry-oriented skills.
It was designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world applications in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. The course provided essential knowledge relevant to careers in building services, cleanroom design, pharmaceutical infrastructure, and energy-efficient systems. It was particularly beneficial for students and professionals from Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, and related engineering disciplines.
