We congratulate our scholar, Mr. Gyandeep Hazarika, part of the FPM Batch of 2021-25, for the successful defense of his thesis proposal. His study titled, 'Practice of Financial Logic in Everyday Life: The Context of Rural Assam' sets the roadmap for conducting research on the practice of financial logic by households in rural Assam through a study of their lived experiences. The practical implications of the research will assist financial institutions in reassembling goods and services provided to rural residents and contribute to the financialization of the future. His thesis aims to look at the influence of cultural knowledge on financial logic.
