CN Kalaniketan

CN Kalaniketan students perform at UNESCO World Heritage Volunteers Cultural Evening.
CN Kalaniketan students of Vocal, Tabla and Bharatnatyam gave performances as part of the Let’s Heritage Celebration organized by Elixir Foundation in partnership with UNESCO.
CN Kalaniketan Bharatnatyam students performed the opening Ganesha Shlok followed by Saraswati Vandana by the Vocal group. The tabla group of Kalaniketan gave solo-tabla presentation. All the performances were well-received by the audience. The students had a good experience performing in front of a huge audience.
CN Kalaniketan draws students from all schools of CN namely, Bal Vidyalaya, Kishore Vidyalaya, Vidyalaya and CN English Medium School. It currently conducts classical music training in Bharatnatyam, Harmonium, Kathak, Tabla and Vocal.
The Cultural Evening drew a huge crowd from schools and colleges of Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad University’s GICT Auditorium, where the event was held,was filled to capacity at this evening.

આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય હૃદય દિવસ - ૨૯મી સપ્ટેમ્બર
કાર્ડિયોવાસ્ક્યુલર રોગોની જાગૃતિ વધારવા અને તેમની વૈશ્વિક અસરને નકારવા માટે અને તેને નિયંત્રણમાં લાવવાના હેતુથી ૨૯ સપ્ટેમ્બરના રોજ વર્લ્ડ હાર્ટ ડે મનાવવામાં આવે છે. આ દિવસે વર્લ્ડ હાર્ટ ફેડરેશન દ્વારા વર્લ્ડ હેલ્થ ઓર્ગેનાઇઝેશનના સહયોગથી આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય રજાજાહેર કરવામાં આવી હતી.
૧૯૯૭ થી ૧૯૯૯ સુધી વર્લ્ડ હાર્ટ ફેડરેશનના પ્રમુખ એન્ટોની બેયસ ડી લુનાએ આ વિચારની કલ્પના કરી હતી. વાર્ષિક કાર્યક્રમની પ્રથમ ઉજવણી ૨૪ સપ્ટેમ્બર, ૨૦૦૦ ના રોજ થઈ હતી.
કાર્ડિયોવાસ્ક્યુલર રોગો (CVD) વૈશ્વિક સ્તરે મૃત્યુનું સૌથી સામાન્ય કારણ છે. અંદાજે ૧૭ મિલિયન લોકો દર વર્ષે CVD થી મૃત્યુ પામે છે. કોરોનરી હૃદય રોગ અથવા સ્ટ્રોક આ મૃત્યુનું મુખ્ય કારણ હોય છે. આ દિવસે કાર્ડિયોવાસ્ક્યુલર ડિસીઝ (સીવીડી) વિશે જાગૃતિ લાવવા અંગેના પ્રયત્નો કરવામાં આવે છે. જેમાં, કસરત, ધૂમ્રપાન મુક્તિ અને પોષણયુક્ત આહાર લેવા માટે જાગૃતિ ફેલાવવા વિવિધ કાર્યક્રમોનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવે છે ઉપરાંત, હૃદયની તમામ બાબતોનું નિરીક્ષણ કરવામાં આવે છે.
