Sharing another beautiful story by little Riya Shetty, who is just 7yrs old - but has a much larger message to give to her readers through her book - "The Invisible Coat".
She is lovely, joyous but calm child and that reflects in her story too!
Her story beautifully presents how a little girl learns to love herself - the way she is. Young or adult, everyone will love to read the story! Kudos Riya!!
Her mother Rinki Shetty mentioned that Riya was thrilled to see her book and wanted to write more stories!
This is brilliant, our workshop is a success when children go back home being more confident to write and expressing willingness to write more!! :)

Delightful thought process.. interesting story by Khushi Gandhi.

Another child prodigy - Jenisha Shah!
She recently authored lovely picture book with the title - "A gift for Nina".
It is amazing to see how children imbibe the teachings from school and parents in form of interesting stories using their own imagination and can eternally be happy in their own dream world!
Her Mother, Sunali, says that Jenisha has been an avid reader since very young age and she could always notice innocence as Jenisha would float in her own imagination while reading. Writing a book has given her a way to express herself and has boosted her confidence at a very young age of at this age of 8!
Sharing Sunali's note to us as she feels proud of her daughter's work and of a fruitful utilization of the summer vacations! :)

Another young Author! - Vani Shah

After much apprehension, she was able to overcome her fear of writing and illustrating her own book! Her story is very creative indeed! Her mom - Jalpa says that she always used to love books and shares her workshop feedback as follows...
"Books are always Vani's best friend. She loves to read a lot. She developed a firm thought to write her own book post her reading hobby. Thought Canvas has served her a robust and strong platform to begin her dream and made it a reality at this early age of 9. Thought Canvas has laid a foundation stone and given her that spark which will go a long way in converting her hobby into a big dream. She would like to see her books on the selves of leading book stores in time to come. She was very skeptical about the illustrations she has drawn for the book. But Megha Mam gave her much needed confidence and helped guidance to complete the same in perfect possible way....We are very very grateful to Thought Canvas for giving the platform and laying foundation... 2 day Workshop pictures from 2016 March, April and May batches!

The workshop will enable children to WRITE and PUBLISH their own short picture book. More than 100 children of age 6 to 17yrs have already written and published books with Thought Canvas (an initiative by IIT Bombay and IIM Ahmedabad Alumni).
