Exciting Spiral Number Game Activity for Nursery Kids!
This fun-filled learning activity combines movement and numbers! In this activity
students will run around with their flashcards! At that time the teacher removes one number from the Black board, then whoever has the missing number flashcard, they will come forward and put their card up.
This activity helps improve coordination and motor skills. They strengthen their ability to recognize numbers in a fun, interactive way!
Students learn to think quickly and react fast when they spot their number.
It’s a great way to mix learning with play, and it's sure to keep them engaged while developing essential early skills! The Nursery students of Atmiya Vidya Niketan learn numbers and have lots of fun.

*All About Time!*
Sr.KG students of Atmiya Vidya Niketan engaged in a fun and interactive activity to learn the concept of time. From identifying hours and minutes to understanding the hands of the clock, the little learners enjoyed a hands-on experience that made learning both exciting and memorable. Every hand of the clock brought new discoveries and smiles!

Subtraction is a process that can be used to find the difference between two numbers.
The SR KG students learnt Subtraction with the help of clay and hammer. The students were given a clay ball and hammer then students hammered clay balls according to the given sum.
Subtraction helps kids think critically and solve problems, developing their ability to make decisions and handle challenges.
This helped the young learners develop both mathematical and cognitive abilities.

In mystery bag activities kids are encouraging them to learn, write, read and understand the new vocabulary words. Learning these words also enhances a child's academic performance and improves spelling skills. Jr.KG students of Atmiya Vidya Niketan learnt two and three letter words in a fun way.

"Descending Number Wheel” helps to children develop a fundamental understanding of number sequence, comparison, and logical thinking, laying the groundwork for more complex math concepts later on by allowing them to arrange items from largest to smallest, which is a crucial skill for basic math operations and everyday situations like comparing sizes or quantities. Jr.KG students of Atmiya Vidya Niketan learnt descending numbers in a fun way.

"Sort and Add" activities developing foundational math skills like categorization, comparison, counting, and basic addition. Jr.KG students of Atmiya Vidya Niketan learnt counting and addition in a fun way.

Learning about money at an early stage is crucial because it helps children develop healthy financial habits early in life, enabling them to make informed decisions about spending and saving.
To educate about money the SR KG educators organised a live demonstration of “SUPER MARKET”. Different products like vegetables, toys, cosmetics, grocery stationery etc. were arranged just like supermarkets.
The children entered the market with trolleys then did shopping, paid bills and exited the market. They were really very electrified to perform the activity.
Students learn what money is and recognition of money. Understood the exchange value of coins & notes. Learn the names of coins & notes.

On *10th February 2025**, students from **Classes 6 to 12*, along with their teachers and our *Respected Principal Ma’am**, attended the **live session of Pariksha Pe Charcha* at *11:00 a.m. in the 3rd Floor Auditorium*. The session, led by *Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi*, provided invaluable insights on exam stress management, effective study techniques, and the importance of holistic development.

*Key Learning Outcomes:*
*Stress-Free Learning:** Techniques to overcome exam fear and anxiety.
*Smart Study Techniques:** Tips on time management and focused preparation.
*Balancing Academics & Passion:** Encouragement to pursue hobbies along with studies.

The session left students motivated and empowered to face exams with confidence and a positive mindset.

Sight words are taught to kids because they are words that appear in text and by recognizing them instantly, children can read more fluently and easily without having to sound out each letter which is especially important for beginning readers to build confidence and comprehension while reading.
Gamification in learning is a very productive tool for educators. Children love to explore many things around them and they learn so much by doing it themselves. Educators of SR KG conducted a “BINGO GAME-SIGHT WORDS” activity for students where the kids have to read maximum words from the given chart and get the title of winner among the readers. This helped them to enhance their reading fluently, improve vocabulary and also become an independent reader. They really enjoyed learning as well as doing.

Maatra’s are the visual representation of vowel sounds, so learning them ensures you can correctly pronounce words by attaching the appropriate vowel sound to each consonant. Mastering maatra is a fundamental step in learning Hindi that helps in paving the way for understanding more complex grammar and vocabulary.
With the aim of learning in a unique way the kids of SR KG were taught maatra by performing activity. The box with a window showing maatra’s by scrolling was prepared. The students had to scroll the maatra as per given SWAR. The tiny toes were really excited and eagerly waiting to perform and win the given task.
With the aim of focussing on learning through play and exploration in the early stage of learning, lend a helping hand for recognising, reading, pronunciation, word building and spelling accuracy for the students.

Before and after games are a fun way to clear the concept of before and after! Which helps to develop children the ability to identify the sequence of events, understand the order of things, and recognize which items come before or after a given reference point. Jr.KG students of Atmiya Vidya Niketan learnt before and after concept in a fun way.

Chanting Shlokas is beneficial for students as it also improves his/her concentration, muscle memory, cognitive skills, and decision-making keeping them calm and composed. In order to developed Sanskrit Shlokas chanting skills amongst our little ones’ Pre-Primary wing of Atmiya Vidya Niketan had organized “Sanskrit Shlokas Chanting Competition”.

Our tiny tots showcased their brilliance and devotion in the Shloka Chanting Competition, bringing ancient wisdom to life through their confident and melodious recitations.

Our students mesmerized everyone with their flawless recitation, deep understanding, and devotion, showcasing the beauty and wisdom of the sacred verses. Their dedication and confidence truly made us proud!

A perfect blend of culture, learning, and spirituality, the event reminded us of the timeless beauty of our heritage. Kudos to all participants for their dedication and enthusiasm!
