DAV International School, Ahmedabad conducted Workshop on “Effective Examination Management” on 25th January, 2017. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Nivedita Ganguli (Psychologist & Head of DAV International School Ahmedabad). Students and teachers of Lotus School, Global Mission, Shree Narayan Guru Vidyalaya, Zydus School for Excellence Vidyanagar High School, DAV International School participated in the Workshop. The teachers and students who participated were trained on “How to effectively learn Long answers”, “Brain exercises for better recall during exam”, “Learning Log for better planning and learning”, “Learning using various strategies and techniques to make learning a fun.”

Patriotic Singing Competition : Grade 5

Patriotism is an inevitable quality that every individual should have for his country and is important for the prosperity of the country. To implant the feeling of real affection for the nation in our younger lot of grade 5 a Patriotic singing Competition was organized on 23rd January with patriotic sentiment and enthusiasm as popular patriotic songs like ‘Mera Mulk Mera Desh…’, ‘Aei mere pyare vatan’, ‘Jahan Daal Daal Par’ and many more buzzed on. The participants brought the stage alive with their passion and love for the motherland. The audience was left spellbound with wonder at the impeccable performances of the young singers. Encompassing the myriad hues of nationalism and bringing in the fervor of Republic Day, the competition embedded the spirit of patriotism in the tender hearts.
