The Indian National Theatre (INT) had been set up in 1944 with a view to promote as well as accelerate the growth of theatrical activities in several languages in India.
One of the most important yearly events of INT is the Gujarati One-Act Drama Competition in which different colleges from the entire state of Gujarat participate. Keeping this in mind, auditions will be held
for students of LD on the 8th of January, 2016 at 10:30 am in the Gymkhana.

Friends, please assist the visually challenged students by registering as their writers in the examinations.

So it's that time of the year again when you scurry for cover under your blankets and arm yourselves with sweaters, scarves, gloves and what not!

But this winter, spare a thought for the homeless and the needy. We're privileged to have things to keep us warm, but we must not forget that there are many who have nothing to protect themselves against the cold.

Keeping this in mind, the NSS wing of L.D. Arts College has organized a drive for collecting warm clothes to be distributed among the less fortunate.

People willing to contribute can bring their old blankets, sweaters, jackets, or anything that can keep you warm, but please see to it that the clothes are wearable and clean.

The items can be deposited at the NSS office inside LD premises till the end of this month. The office remains open till 1:30 pm. For more information, contact Gautam Mistry, Phone No. 9574203468.

Nirja Shah of Psychology Department had been selected to represent Ahmedabad in a French singing competition 'Indole Indienne' which took place in Bangalore.

Gautam Mistry of our college is going to be awarded the Indira Gandhi National Award by the President of India in New Delhi. He will be awarded for his dedication, contribution and outstanding performance in the various N.S.S. activities.
