Understanding how the body moves during everyday activities is an important part of developing effective physiotherapy assessment skills. Practical exposure allows students to connect classroom concepts with real movement patterns and clinical observation.

An insightful hands-on session by GaitON was conducted for faculty members and Final Year BPT students, focusing on gait analysis and functional movement assessment across activities such as posture, walking, running, squatting and jumping.

The session provided an opportunity to explore movement assessment from a practical perspective while strengthening students’ understanding of how systematic observation can support physiotherapy evaluation and clinical reasoning. 🩺

Practical emergency preparedness plays an important role in helping students respond calmly and effectively during critical situations. Hands-on learning gives them the opportunity to understand lifesaving techniques and develop the confidence needed to act in an emergency.

A hands-on CPR and First Aid workshop was conducted at Shankus Divine Child International School as part of the SATYAM Project, an initiative of the Department of Emergency & Trauma, JPNATC, AIIMS New Delhi, in collaboration with WHO CCET.

The session focused on practical CPR skills, emergency response awareness and the importance of timely action. Such experiences help students develop essential lifesaving skills while strengthening their understanding of emergency preparedness. 🩺

Workplace habits, posture and movement patterns can have a significant impact on physical well-being. Helping people understand these factors is an important step towards creating safer and healthier work environments.

Our Final Year BPT students took part in an interactive session at Safal Pegasus, Prahladnagar, focusing on practical aspects of workplace ergonomics and ways to support healthier movement practices.

The session encouraged participants to become more aware of everyday postures and workplace practices while highlighting the role of physiotherapy in promoting musculoskeletal health and preventing work-related problems. 🩺
