The Government Polytechnic for Girls, Ahmedabad hosted a technical event, TechnoSarita 2024, which included a quiz competition-Brainyak Bonanza, and an innovative project exhibition-Idea Ignition. Total 400 students were participated in TechnoSarita from various departments. The students showcased innovative projects and models that utilized new technologies and were useful for industrial and household applications.

The main objective of TechnoSarita is to promote skill development, team management, leadership, and the use of new technologies among students and also encourage them.

Experience fashion extravaganza at its finest!! Department of Computer Aided Costume Design & Dress Making organized a Fashion Show "Abhivyakti" - The Expression of Creativity on 16th April, 2024 showcasing the latest trends and design from talented students. The students had designed, stitched and portrayed the sundown, orchid, unicorn, midnight, pearl, butterfly, tie and dye and vasudev kutumbakam based theme dresses on the ramp.

NSS unit of Government Polytechnic for Girls, Ahmedabad affiliated to GTU, planned and organised an event named 'Ink & Imagination' on 6th March 2024. The first of its kind in the institute. A 5by3 feet wall space was allotted to all 23 teams, where they painted their ideas on various themes like Women's Day, Heritage, Nature, Gender Equality, Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. The best 3 paintings will be awarded in a ceremony on 15th March.
The event was a pre-celebration of Women's Day. It was organised for the students, by the students. Idea was to bring out the creative side of students, providing them a platform to display their imagination. Students displayed so much enthusiasm and were self motivated throughout the entire preparation till the end of the event.
The program was managed by NSS student volunteers and faculty coordinators Jayalakshmi Pillai and Anisha Dodiya under the guidance of Principal Dr. Balkrishna Soneji. The event was well supported by all the staff members.

Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST) organized Science Carnival at Science City, Ahmedabad. Students of our institute visited Science Carnival on 3rd March 2024.

A Day celebration event was festivated by our students which included Group Day, Bollywood Day, Retro Day, Traditional Day and Fusion Day with full enthusiasm. This celebration gives students memorable moments which they cherish for the lifetime. The same is published in Gujarat Samachar.

Thalassemia test has been organized by NSS committee on 4th March,2024 in our Institute.

Government Polytechnic for Girls Ahmedabad celebrates International Mother Language Day. The event reminded us the beauty of linguistic and cultural diversity. Students and faculties also reflected its importance through the art of each mother tongue.

Government Polytechnic for Girls Ahmedabad celebrates success of Khelostav-2024 held on 22-02-2024 and 23-02-2024 organized by Gymkhana Committee. The event showcased remarkable talents and sportsmanship of participants.
