Amazing Science Experiments
Discover hands-on science — with your very own fab electrochemistry lab! ⚡ Produce an oxidation reaction that "eats" up aluminum foil. Test a voltmeter to learn about electric potential, and build a coin battery-powered LED light. Then put everything you learned together to engineer a clock that runs on just saltwater and strips of metal!
Save all the bottle caps! 🤗 Here’s a fun way to use them up for fine motor play! 👌 This simple DIY provides so many skills for your little one to play with: like screwing and unscrewing, color matching, and strengthening that pincher grasp! 🙌 Just make sure to not only save the bottle cap, but also the twisty end too! ♻️ Read on below for the simple how to! Any questions at all? Drop👇 them in the comment section below!

⚠️ CAUTION: Small Parts. Adult Supervision required. You can always swap out pom poms for something edible! ⚠️
-
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Old cardboard box
- 6 lids, including the screw-able bottom
- Pom Poms, or something small to drop through the holes (use something edible, like blueberries, raisins, or Cherrios if there are any concern that your little one will put the items in their mouths)
- Paint Sticks and dot stickers for color matching fun!
-
HOW TO MAKE
(1) To make a rainbow shape, trace and cut 6 circles on the cardboard (I used one of the lids for tracing)
(2) Insert the screw end of the lid inside the box, using glue or tape to secure.(3) Decorate your rainbow! Use a paint stick, marker, or crayon to make a circle around the screw ends on the cardboard, and then add a corresponding dot sticker on top of the lid.
(4) Now it’s ready for your kiddo to unscrew, push something inside the hole, and even color coordinate!

*Lego Tower Counting!*
I’m always trying to find new and engaging ways for Bobby to practice counting! Came up with this LEGO activity this morning, which was super quick to prepare... and he had fun with it.. because, let’s face it - anything with LEGO is a win ;)
1. Roll the dice, write the number in the first space, then make a tower with that many levels!
2. Repeat for the second tower!
3. Combine both towers and see how many levels in total!
4. Erase and start again!
Tag a parent or teacher who would find this useful!! It means so much when you share :)
