What is IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome)?
IBS is a chronic functional disorder of the gastrointestinal tract that causes abdominal pain, bloating, and altered bowel habits—either diarrhea, constipation, or both. It is not life-threatening but can significantly impact quality of life.
